Mark Raduluch does a ton of work for the site so I decided to give him a break this week. On tap for this episode is a fight between David Grant and Louis Fisette and a visit from Ronda Rousey's mom.

    INTRO!

Jessica Rakoczy shares a moment with Roxanne Modaferri after their fight, which aired last week. Modaferri is sad after the loss, but she feels she has to be happy so those around her don't feel sad. She is shown crying in the backyard of the house, but the cries turn into laughter. She might be the most likeable fighter in the history of the show.

David Grant and Louis Fisette are fighting this week, but they're casually talking in in beds right next to each other. They agree to remain friends after the fight.

Raquel is sitting by the pool and tells some of the girls she has a girlfriend. She talks about coming out and her family's reaction to it.

David Grant misses his family. He says he owes everything to his fiancé, who watches the kids as he chases his dream in MMA. He began training at 14 and enjoys riding stationary bikes and pulling rope in slow motion. Ronda Rousey is impressed with Grant's ability to break people on the feet and then submit them on the ground. Grant plans with his coaches to pressure Fisette.

Back at the house everyone is playing truth or dare. Sarah thinks Anthony is the hottest guy in the house. Maybe they'll start going steady or something. Josh is dared to use a cheesy pickup line on Roxy. He chooses to go with, "nice shoes, wanna f*ck?" It didn't work. Anthony is asked who the weakest link is, and he chooses Louis, because he lost in the preliminary round. Louis doesn't seem pleased with his choice.

Louis grew up in Canada and was always a nice guy, he says. He got into MMA at 18-years-old. He notes that he's lucky to even be in the house given he's an injury replacement, and he's got nothing to lose. Tate wants Louis to be aggressive, and they think David Grant. Little do they know that is the exact opposite of Grant's plan. Fisette is looking to showcase his standup and he doesn't mind the underdog role.

Back at the house, Chris Holdsworth is having trouble not eating crappy food. Anthony seems to be having a similar issue. Cody Bollinger is 22.5-pounds overweight, but he's sure he'll make weight when called upon. Fisette, who is fighting this week, woke up just ten pounds over. Grant is having a tough weight cut and is taking a bath.

Ronda Rousey's mom, Dr. Ann Maria DeMars, visits the gym. She talks about wanting to observe the fighters before coaching them. After observing, she talks about how tough you have to be. Ronda talks about her mom purposely putting her in less than ideal conditions to toughen her up as a competitor. Ronda carries her mom on the mat.

Holdsworth talks to Fisette, who he beat in the preliminary round. He tells him to shock the world.

Ronda and Ann Maria visit the house with ice cream. David shows them pictures of his kids.

Back in the training center, Miesha Tate and team sneak into the training center in disguise and leave something to prank Edmond's appearance. Well, I guess it's better than the classic semen in the sushi.

Both fighters make weight. Dana White doesn't know what to make of the fight, but he thinks it will be good.

The fighters head to the fight. Grant kisses pictures of his children.

    David Grant vs. Louis Fisette

Round 1: Grant starts off with a leg kick. Another lands. He backs up Louis with punches. Louis has his back against the cage. Grant working for a takedown. Louis looks for a trip, doesn't get it but he now has Grant against the cage. Grant reverses and has Louis against the cage throwing strikes. Louis looks for a flying knee and gets taken down. Grant is in Fisette's closed guard now. An elbow opens up a cut on Louis' hairline. Grant looking for a neck crank, probably in attempt to open up the guard. The guard opens and Grant passes. He nearly takes the back in a scramble and attacks an arm. The armbar fails and he's on his back. Another scramble ends with Grant slamming Fisette on his back. Grant throwing strikes and looking to finish with 20 seconds left but Fisette is defending so he slows down the pace. He throws a series of elbows at the very end of the round that may have ended the fight had the bell not sounded. Clear 10-9 round for Fisette.

This show gets really commercial heavy before and during the fight.

Round 2: Louis presses the action right away and has Grant up against the fence. Grant takes him down anyway. He mounts. Now on the back he's throwing punches. He locks up a rear naked choke and that's it. Really good performance from David Grant.

Louis feels like he had a great opportunity and he let everyone down. Tate commends him on his armbar escape in the first round.

Fight Announcement: Jessamyn Duke vs. Raquel Pennington.

Tate likes that matchup for her team.

NEXT WEEK: The fighters take a field trip and swim in a pool. Julianna gives makeovers. Duke fights Pennington.
