Tarec Saffiedine defeated Hyun Gyu Lim via unanimous decision, Tatsuya Kawajiri defeated Sean Soriano via RD2 submission, Kyung Ho Kang defeated Shunichi Shimizu via RD3 submission and more. Check out 411’s complete UFC Fight Night 34 report for all the details…
Alright ladies and gentlemen, Robert Winfree is here to give you live coverage of UFC fight night 34. While you're reading this please check out the Radulich in Broadcasting network, it's full of good content and will help the time pass quicker.
This is the first event for the UFC under the new Fight Pass system, so I'm fully anticipating some kind of technical issues to happen at some point, but that's the nature of these things. Just for the record, the prelims start at 4:30 am where I live so if my coverage seems off at first, that's why and hopefully I'll get more into the swing of things as time goes on.
Jon Anik and Brian Stann are on commentary, so at least I wont have a problem telling the two commentary guys apart. Joe Martinez is doing in ring duties for those who are fans of his.
Bantamweight Bout: Russel Doane vs. Leandro Issa
ROUND ONE: Touch of the gloves and wer're going. Issa gets a quick takedown off of a winging punch. Issa gets half guard. Doane reverses on the mat, Issa escapes and we're standing again. Both men are trying to find the range, they're missing right now but I expect that to change shortly. Doane is landing a right hand. Issa shoots a single, works hard and finishes it. Doane has double butterfly's, Issa passes into half guard. Doane reverses again, this time into full mount! Issa gives up his back, Doane tries a choke, then punches. Issa rolls out, now he's on his back and Doane is standing landing leg kicks. Doane lands a right hand as he goes down into guard. Issa snaps up a quick triangle choke. Doane is defending, but Issa is landing elbows. Doane tries to slam out of it, doesn't work. Doane is keeing his arm from going across his neck, which is what's saving him here. Issa isn't going to finish it out before the round ends.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Issa based on that triangle for the last minute.
ROUND TWO: Touch of the gloves again. Doane is able to land his right hand again. Issa shoots, stuffed at first and we're clinched against the fence. Doane is pushing Issa into the cage, landing some knees to the body and legs. Issa with a few knees of his own, we break and are back in the middle of the cage. Leg kick from Issa. Doane lands the right again. Issa lands a couple of leg kicks. Doane lands two right hands and Issa is hurt. Issa shoots, not even close, Doane still pushing forward with strikes. Issa shoots again, again stuffed. Doane lands another right that again wobbles Issa. Doane being patient, landing punches and stuffing shots from Issa. Now elbows from Doane as Issa shoots. Doane counters and lands in the mounted crucifix off of a takedown attempt. Elbows and punches from Doane as Issa manages to get kind of a half guard. Doane tries a straight armbar, Issa reverses and gets on top. Doane holds the arm and gets a triangle choke as the round ends. Wait, Issa went out just before the round ended and the ref saw it. Credit the ref for seeing that one, and to Doane for locking that up.

No interview for Doane, but a good performance from him.
Bantamweight Bout: Dustin Kimura vs. Jon Delos Reyes
ROUND ONE: Touch of the gloves. Reyes throws a right hand. Reyes lands a left hook pretty flush, and another. Reyes cracks Kimura again and Kimura goes down. Kimura fighting to survive, he gets the ground but Reyes is landing punches. Kimura tries a heel hook, Reyes spins out. Kimura looking for an omoplata, Reyes slides around. Kimura tries an armbar, Reyes gets out, on top in half guard. Reyes stands and comes down with punches into the full guard. Kimura gets an armbar, really tight, goes belly down and Reyes has to tap.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Dustin Kimura via submission, armbar, at 2:13 of Round 1
Kimura is with Brian Stann. Kimura says he was trying to avoid getting hit while Reyes was dropping bombs from top position, he waited for an opening and got it. He says Reyes actually got out of the armbar and he hand to adjust, he hopes Reyes is OK because he felt the arm crack.
Lightweight Bout: Tae Hyun Bang vs. Mairbek Taisumov
Bang Tae Hyun comes out to a version of Ecstasy of Gold and a cowboy hat. I approve.
ROUND ONE: Hungary vs. Korea here, and we get a touch of the gloves. Bang has his hands at his sides to start. Tausimov misses a right hand. Bang is fighting southpaw. Inside leg kick from Taisumov. High kick from Taisumov, blocked. Both men cautious to get things going. Another leg kick from Taisumov. Big inside leg kick from Taisumov. Body kick from Taisumov. Bang lands a left hand. Another inside leg kick from Taisumov. Bang lands a left, they clinch and Bang lands some punches before Taisumov gets away. Taisumov lands a left hook that might have stunned Bang. Bang with an outside leg kick, Taisumov catches it and lands a right hand. Bang tries a jumping knee, misses. Taisumov lands a right hand. Bang closing the distance now, both men trading. Taisumov lands a right hand to counter a flying knee. Bang has a great chin as he doesn't even go down. They circle some to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Taisumov
ROUND TWO: Touch of the gloves again. Bang has his hands up this time. Taisumov misses a high kick. Body kick from Taisumov. High kick from Taisumov misses. Thrust kick to the body from Taisumov. Taisumov shoots, gets a single and has Bang down. Taisumov doesn't follow him to the ground and Bang gets up without taking damage. Bang seems to be slowing down a little bit here. Inside leg kick from Bang. Body kick from Bang. Right hand from Taisumov lands. Body kick from Taisumov. Inside leg kick from Bang. Taisumov shoots another single, this time Bang defends it. Taisumov lands a body kick to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Taisumov, 20-18 Taisumov overall
ROUND THREE: That last body kick from Taisumov looked a little low and Bang mentioned it between rounds to his corner. Taisumov shoots early and gets a double leg. Taisumov is busy from the top so far, passes into half guard. Bang has his back to the cage. Taisumov throwing shoulder strikes now. Bang trying to get up, Taisumov lands a knee to the body as he does. They're clinched against the fence now. Taisumov with a body lock takedown. Taisumov tries to take the back, decides against it and gets half guard on top. Taisumov gets an arm trapped, Bang recovers it before he eats too many shots. Bang recovers full guard as Taisumov keeps throwing punches. Bang pushes Taisumov off and gets back up. Bang switches to orthodox stance and eats an outside leg kick. Taisumov misses a spinning back kick rather badly. Body shot by Taisumov, they clinch and Taisumov with a judo hip toss into full guard. Ten seconds left and Taisumov ends this one landing a right hand to the downed Bang.

Bantamweight Bout: Royston Wee vs. David Galera
Galera represents the Philippines, Wee is a native of Singapore so the crowd should be awake for this one. Wee comes out to The Moment by Eminem, which is fitting for the first ever Singaporian making his UFC debut.
ROUND ONE: Galera has a four inch height and five inch reach advantage. Both men are undefeated, Wee at 2-0 and Galera at 5-0. Touch of the gloves. Galera throws a couple of quick kicks, Wee catches the second and slams Galera to the ground. Wee in Galera's full guard, both men throwing punches. Galera tries a triangle, Wee avoids, tries to pass but Galera recovers full guard. Galera has a closed guard, Wee lands an elbow. Both men are being active, Wee lands another left elbow. Galera tries a sweep, gets it and has full mount for a moment. Wee scrambles and gets back on top into full guard. Wee passes into half guard now. Galera fakes a sweep attempt and regains full guard. Wee with another elbow. Galera tries another guillotine sweep, Wee blocks it this time. Galera tries another sweep, again Wee blocks it. Wee lands another elbow after Galera bails on a kimura attempt, another elbow from Wee. Wee lands another elbow to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Wee
ROUND TWO: Touch of the gloves. Body kick from Galera. Wee eats it, gets a body lock and takes Galera down again. Wee in half guard now. Wee passes into side control. Galera tries to regain half guard, Wee kind of goes back into it. Elbow from Wee. Galera recovers full guard. Wee passes into half guard again. Wee tries to land some punches, he's got one of Galera's arms pinned under his leg. Wee tries to pass into side control, Galera uses a leg to recover full guard. Galera looking to sweep again. Wee is being patient, landing some shots and keeping the fight on the mat. Galera tries to get up, Wee sticks to him and doesn't let him get his feet under him. Wee in half guard now. Galera gets upright, Wee keeps him pushed against the fence. Wee gets Galera back down against the fence. Wee in half guard, Galera thinking about a kimura.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Wee, 20-18 Wee overall
ROUND THREE: Shake of the hands to start round three. Galera throws a thrust kick. Wee circling away, eats a right hand from Galera. Wee clinches for a moment, eats a knee from Galera. They get close, Wee shoots and gets another takedown. Wee in full guard now. Wee passes into half guard. Wee isn't being very active here at the moment. Galera tries an americana from the bottom, and regains full guard. Galera lands a big time up kick but it was hugely illegal. We've got time for Wee to recover, and the doctor is in to look at Wee. They take a point from Galera, it was blatantly illegal, and we're restarting with Wee in Galera's full guard. Galera gets up, but Wee is sticking tight to him, get's another takedown. Wee pressuring forward, Galera tries a kimura from the bottom, Wee escapes and passes into half guard. Wee lands some punches to end the fight.
SCORECARD: 10-8 Wee with the point deduction, 30-26 Wee overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Royston Wee via unanimous decision (30-26x3)
Wee gets a good pop from the crowd, and gets an interview with Brian Stann. Wee says he's tired and happy to get the win for Singapore. They replay the illegal kick, Wee says he's got a pretty tough chin and while he was rocked he wasn't knocked out.
Lightweight Bout: Katsunori Kikuno vs. Quinn Mulhern
ROUND ONE: Mulhern has a 9.5 inch reach advantage. Kikuno has a karate stance, hands down, elbows out, it looks like something from a movie. Kikuno slowly gets close and lands a left hook. Outside leg kick from Kikuno. Mulhern ducks his head, gets a grip and pulls guard. Kikuno trying to pass, can't do it and Mulhern has closed guard. Mulhern gets a rubber guard position, Kikuno pulls out and stands up. Kikuno again has his hands down, Mulhern seems like he doesn't know how to attack it. Body kick from Kikuno. Mulhern shoots from way outside and it's stuffed easily. Kikuno lands another left hook, Mulhern shoots then pulls guard. Kikuno in half guard as Mulhern gets rubber guard again. Kikuno stands back up again. Mulhern lands a lead left. Mulhern misses a high kick. Outside leg kick from Mulhern, body kick from Kikuno. Mulhern shoots, and pulls guard again. Kikuno in half guard to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Kikuno, should probably be a 10-10 round in all honesty
ROUND TWO: Kikuno lands a left hand that drops Mulhern. Actually it looked more like Mulhern slipped, Kikuno is on top for a bit then stands up again. Mulhern shoots and pulls guard again. Kikuno lands some ground and pound this time before getting up. They trade some punches, body kick from Mulhern. Mulhern shoots and pulls guard yet again. Kikuno is in half guard, again he seems like he wants to land some punches this time around. Mulhern recovers full guard and gets rubber guard position. He bails on it, Kikuno gets back to half guard and landing some right hands. Mulhern tries a sweep, Kikuno stops it and then stands back up. Kikuno lands a left hand. Kikuno lands a knee as Mulhern was shooting, Mulhern pulls guard again. Kikuno in half guard again, he lands a couple of small shots to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Kikuno, 20-18 Kikuno overall
ROUND THREE: Mulhern circling to start the third. Mulhern looking to jab. Kikuno lands a body kick, Mulhern pulls guard again. Kikuno in half guard, and he's actually doing stuff this time. Kikuno landing some short hammerfists. Kikuno passes into side control now. The ref calls for action, from side control. Stupid. Mulhern gets back up, eats another body kick from Kikuno then Kikuno gets a body lock and gets Mulhern down again. Brian Stann theorizes that something is wrong with one of the eyes of Mulhern which is leading to these desperation shots. Kikuno in half guard, he gets his left hand free and lands a couple of punches. Not much happening and the ref stands them up. Kikuno lands another hard body kick. Mulhern shoots again, stuffed easily and Kikuno doesn't even hit the ground. Mulhern's right eye is almost closed. Kikuno lands another body kick. All these kicks are coming from Kikuno's left, so Mulhern might not see them. Kikuno gets the clinch and pushes Mulhern against the fence. Kikuno with a body lock throw into full guard and that should end the fight.

Featherweight Bout: Max Holloway vs. Will Chope
Chope is 6'4 at featherweight, which is a little crazy.
ROUND ONE: Touch of the gloves and we're going. Chope lands an uppercut. Holloway tries a spinning attack. Leg kick from Chope. Another leg kick from Chope. Holloway misses another spinning kick. They clinch, Holloway gets away without eating a knee from Chope. Chope gets another clinch and lands a knee to the head this time. Holloway looks a little lost against a guy this tall. Body kick from Chope. Chope lands another uppercut. Chope trying to jab now. They clinch again, knee to the body from Holloway. Leg kick from Chope. Holloway lands a right hook and lands a spinning back kick to the body. Holloway has his range now and he's landing. Chope lands a left hook. Holloway lands a sharp left hook. Chope pushes into the clinch against the fence. Holloway lands a knee to the body and spins out. They're trading jabs, Holloway lands a big combination and swarms Chope to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Holloway
ROUND TWO: Touch of the gloves, Chope still looks a little hesitant. Thrust kick to the knee from Holloway. Chope throws an uppercut. Holloway lands a right hand and gets a big combination. Chope shoots, nothing doing. Holloway has Chope against the fence and is teeing off. Chope lands a right hand, but Holloway gets him against the fence again and is teeing off. Chope shoots again, but can't get his hands under the hips. They're clinched against the fence. Holloway breaks way and lands another big combination, this time Chope goes down and it's over.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Max Holloway via TKO at 2:27 of Round 2
Holloway is with Stann. Holloway thanks God, gives a happy birthday to his son and asks for a bonus check. Says he wasn't expecting Chope to be as tall as he was, but had to persevere. He says the spinning back kick was because a fan on twitter asked to see it.
I know it says Mulhern and Kikuno, but it's the finish from Holloway and Chope.
That wraps up the prelims. It's worth noting that these Fight Night cards look like they've got their own intro, different music and highlights from the PPV intro. I like it, differentiating between shows is something the UFC hasn't done much in the past and this is a good start.
Bantamweight Bout: Kyung Ho Kang vs. Shunichi Shimizu
Kang rocking some Twisted Sister, "We're not gonna take it", as his entrance song, always a good decision.
ROUND ONE: Shimizu has ten draws on his record, apparently he fought for a promotion where a fight that went the distance was automatically a draw. Kang's nickname is Mr. Perfect. Kang is much bigger than Shimizu, looks like a full weight class bigger. Kang misses a spinning heel kick. Leg kick from Kang. Kang lands a knee as Shimizu was shooting. Shimizu has a leg and just wont let go, Kang finally gets away. Shimizo stays down, Kang comes down into the guard and lands some shots. Kang gets full mount, goes for a mounted triangle, rolls to his back. Shimizo survives, Kang transitions for an armbar, Shimizo keeps defending but Kang is switching between armbar and triangle attacks depending on where Shimizo is moving. Kang with some elbows to the head of Shimizo. Kang still has the triangle. Kang gets top position but lands a couple of illegal 12-6 elbows and the ref stops the action. The doctor checks on Shimizu, looks like he's good to go. The ref takes two points of a deliberate foul, which is understandable. We're back standing. Kang misses another spinning heel kick, Shimizo tries a flying heel hook that misses. They clinch, Kang get's Shimizo down and begins landing right hands. Kang backs up and Shimizo is allowed back to his feet. Leg kick from Kang, answered from Shimizo. Kang lands a left hook then throws a thrust kick that looks like it hit Shimizo in the groin. Time called again. The thrust kick glanced the cup, didn't look to be a flush shot. The ref watched the replay and said the kick was legal. Ten seconds and Shimizo misses a spinning kick.
SCORECARD: 8-8 DRAW after the two point deduction
ROUND TWO: Head kick misses for Kang. Leg kick from Kang lands. Shimizo gets a single, Kang defends and lands some elbows. Kang spins Shimizo against the fence and throws a knee. Kang on top landing some serious ground and pound. Shimizo tries a leg lock, Kang passes into full mount. Kang taking his time here, landing a couple blows at a time. Big elbows from Kang. Shimizo reverses and is in Kang's full guard. Kang gets to the cage, wall walks and immediately takes Shimizo down. Elbows for Kang from inside the guard. Shimizo is holding on, Kang looking for elbows. Big punches from Kang to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Kang, 18-17 Kang overall
ROUND THREE: Given that most judges probably have the first round 8-9 Kang likely needs a finish. Shimizo gets a quick single and has Kang down. Kang gets up quickly and tosses Shimizo down and begins landing elbows. Kang is landing elbows from the full guard. More elbows and hammerfists from Kang. Kang is just relentlessly busy with strikes from the full guard. Shimizo gives up his back in a scramble, Kang rolls with him and winds up in full mount again. Kang goes for a side choke, gets it, Shimizo has to tap.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Kyung Ho Kang via submission, arm triangle choke, at 3:53 of Round 3
No interview for Kang, I hope it's not for lack of a Korean translator given the number of Korean's fighting tonight.
Welterweight Bout: Luiz Dutra vs. Kiichi Kunimoto
Dutra comes out to the theme from Rocky. Anyone but Matt Serra or Junior dos Santos using it doesn't seem quite right.
ROUND ONE: Dutra has a pretty sweet mean face going on. Dutra wings a left hook that misses. Kunimoto shoots, gets Dutra against the fence. Dutra with a knee to the body. Kunimoto drops down for a single, things better of it and they break. Kunimoto lands a left. Leg kick from Kunimoto. Dutra misses a spinning back kick. Dutra lands a left to the body. Leg kick from Kunimoto. Dutra lands a left to the head, Kunimoto lands a straight right. Kunimoto lands another right and shoots. Dutra lands elbows, several blatantly illegal either back of the head or 12-6. Replay shows at least three that landed on the back of the head and were 12-6. Kunimoto is down and unlikely to get up right now. Kunimoto isn't getting up and can't continue. Ref indicates that he'll be disqualifying Dutra.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Kiichi Kunimoto by Disqualification at 2:57 of Round 1
They've got the backboard in for Kunimoto as he's not getting up, and here's why.
Kunimoto is taken out on a stretcher, but waves to the crowd so hopefully the stretcher is precautionary.
Featherweight Bout: Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Sean Soriano
ROUND ONE: No touch of the gloves. Soriano lands a leg kicks. Kawajiri tires a takedown, stuffed. Right hand by Soriano. Kawajiri moves forward, can't get the takedown. Kawajiri gets the body lock, he gets Soriano down for a moment but Soriano fights it off. Knee from Soriano in the clinch and they break. Kawajiri tries a spinning back elbow. Leg kick from Soriano, Kawajiri shoots off it but Soriano against avoids the mat. Kawajiri has the body lock against the fence and gets him down. Soriano reverses and they're clinched against the fence. Soriano lands some elbows to the head, legal ones, but Kawajiri finally gets the takedown into half guard. Soriano manages another standup, Kawajiri not letting go of Soriano though. Kawajiri tries to get the back, and does. Kawajiri goes for the choke, not quite in position to get the choke. Soriano hand fighting, Kawajiri gets the body triangle. Kawajiri fighting for the choke. Soriano tries to roll to the other side to put pressure on the body triangle, Kawajiri switches sides. Soriano on all fours and Kawajiri is landing punches from the back. Soriano getting flattened out, Kawajiri lands more punches while thinking about a choke. Kawajiri just unloads, the bell likely saves Soriano.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Kawajiri
ROUND TWO: Knee in the clinch from Soriano, Kawajiri gets his back standing, Soriano reverses and get's Kawajiri's back standing. Kawajiri slides out and slings Soriano down again, immediately gets his back. Kawajiri has the rear naked choke, and Soriano taps. The ref didn't see the tap so Soriano goes out and the ref sees him go limp.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Tatsuya Kawajiri via submission, rear naked choke, at :50 of Round 2
Kawajiri gets an interview. Kawajiri thanks the crowd and chants USA. Kawajiri then asks for a title shot in somewhat broken English, also asks for sub of the night. Asks for someone stronger in his next fight, says he was surprised at how good Soriano was.
To kill some time before the main event we get a replay of Chope vs. Holloway.
Welterweight Bout: Tarec Saffeidine vs. Hyun Gyu Lim
ROUND ONE: Lim has nine inches of reach on Saffiedine. Tarec is southpaw to start things off. Tarec misses an inside leg kick. Tarec switches to orthodox and throws an outside leg kick. Lim lands a right and a knee to the body. Tarec is switching stances, apparently it's part of his game plan. Body kick from Lim. Leg kick from Tarec. Outside leg kick from Tarec again, Lim pushes forward and lands a body punch. Knee to the body from Lim, Lim lands a straight right that drops Tarec. Lim on top. Tarec pushes him off and gets back up. Tarec lands an inside leg kick from southpaw stance. Body kick from Lim. Lim lands a big right hand and knee, Tarec is down for a moment but gets up and lands a leg kick. Body kick from Tarec. They trade kicks to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Lim
ROUND TWO: Tarec comes out southpaw, that will change during the course of the round. Lim throws a lead uppercut, it misses but Tarec backs up. Inside leg kick from Tarec. They go toe to tow, and Lim eats a huge right hand. Lim could be hurt. Tarec is stalking Lim now. Now Lim starts jabbing. Heavy outside leg kick from Tarec. Lim lands a combination, Tarec lands a leg kick. Tarec lands a right hand as Lim hits an uppercut. Inside leg kick from Tarec. Tarec is landing punches regularly now. Lim moves forward and tries to land a combination. Tarec lands a right jab, then a heavy outside leg kick. Tarec lands a left hook, Lim misses badly with a spinning backfist. Lim with a thrust kick to the body, Tarec lands another leg kick to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Saffeidine, 19-19 overall
ROUND THREE: Touch of the gloves for round three. Body kick from Tarec. Leg kick from Lim. Tarec lands a right that drops Lim, but Lim is up and lands a punch, Tarec lands another leg kick. Tarec shoots, eats a knee, but gets the takedown. Lim goes for an achilles lock, Tarec escapes and has the back. Tarec gets too high and Lim dumps him off and they're back standing. Another leg kick from Tarec, another drops Lim. Lim on his back, Tarec lands a couple of more leg kicks before going into Lim's half guard. Elbow from Tarec. Tarec not being terribly active, and they get stood up. Tarec lands another leg kick and Lim is limping. Lim switches stances, Tarec lands another leg kick anyway and Lim goes down. Tarec lands a couple shots on the ground and the round ends.
ROUND FOUR: Touch of the gloves again. Lim comes out swinging wildly, both men swinging. Tarec looking for more leg kicks, but Lim isn't giving him the space or time to land it yet. Tarec lands a right hand. Lim is trying, but he's clearly hurt. Tarec lands a knee to the liver, Lim throws some punches to back Tarec off. Tarec being patient, lands a big flying knee that drops Lim. Lim hangs on as Tarec lands in half guard. Tarec works towards mount, Lim tires a sweep, Tarec gets his back and tries a choke, Lim evades the choke but Tarec has the mount. Tarec has a side choke, Lim defends it, Tarec in side control now. Tarec lands a punch, Lim gives up the back, Tarec in the officials position. Tarec with some punches, both men clearly tired. Lim tires to hit a reversal, Tarec goes with him and is in half guard. Tarec lands some ground and pound to end the round.
ROUND FIVE: Lim isn't going to roll over. Tarec lands a leg kick. Another one for Tarec, a third and Lim is visibly limping. Lim lands a combination, he's still fighting and Tarec backs off. Lim throwing wild punches, he lands a knee to the body. Lim landing right hands, Tarec lands a leg kick to stop his motion. Lim southpaw now to protect the leg. Tarec now southpaw and throwing outside leg kicks again. Tarec lands a jab. Another leg kick from Tarec, knee to the body from Lim. Tarec is checking the clock and circling. Tarec lands another kick to the left leg and he's gonna make Lim stand up. Tarec circling, Lim southpaw again. Head kick lands for Tarec, he shoots but Lim stuffs it and gives off a primal scream. Tarec is circling away, Lim is following him hands down. Lim lands a left right combination. Body kick from Tarec. Lim lands a left hook. Knee to the body from Lim, Tarec lands a big leg kick. Lim gets rocked at the end of the round! Lim goes crazy for the last few seconds of the fight.

Stann is with Saffeidine. Saffeidine says he was hurt at the end of the fifth but was able to recover. He says he worked hard and Lim is a tough fighter, but he was sticking with the gameplan. Says Lim prepared well for him but he was sticking to the gameplan. Saffeidine wants to fight a top ten guy, can't wait to get back in the gym and train for them.
Brian Stann and Jon Anik run down the card now that it's over, they put over Lim as having tons of heart and determination, absolutely true by the way, and mention he'll only get better. The two run down the card including the prelims but that will wrap up the event.
