ROUND ONE: Touch of the gloves and we're underway. Chavez misses a leg kick and Cedeno just misses a right hand. Leg kick from Cedeno. Cedeno misses a spinning kick but doesn't get caught on the return. Cedeno switches stances and lands a body kick. Leg kick from Cedeno, Chavez isn't doing a whole lot. Cedeno just misses a nasty head kick. Chavez closes the distance and they clinch, Cedeno defends the shot and escapes. Cedeno lands a leg kick. Chavez lands a leg kick. Cedeno tries another wheel kick, this time Chavez closes the distance and gets a takedown into side control. Chavez gets the mounted crucifix for a moment, Cedeno scrambles and frees his arm. Chavez gets the mount. Cedeno gives up his back, but is defending the rear naked choke, Cedeno gets back to his feet. They fight for position against the fence to end the round.

ROUND TWO: Low kick from Chavez, doesn't really land, Cedeno lands a hard leg kick. Cedeno misses the windmill right hand punch. Leg kick from Cedeno, who is visibly slowing down after all of his movement in round one. Lightweight Bout: Erik Koch (155) vs. Rafaello Oliveira (155)
ROUND ONE: Koch is a southpaw. Oliveira with a front kick. Oliveira misses a head kick, then blocks the return head kick from Koch. Oliveira misses a jumping knee and eats a left from Koch that knocks him down. Oliveira lands a body kick. Koch lands a one two combination that puts Oliveira down. Koch jumps into his full guard and lands ground and pound to stop the fight.

Koch gets an interview. Koch says he feels good at lightweight, that tonight was the real Erik Koch. Koch says they were drilling the straight left and dart forward fifteen minutes before he came out to fight.

Flyweight Bout: Josh Sampo (126) vs. Zach Makovsky (125)
ROUND ONE: Makovsky is southpaw. Outside leg kick from Sampo. Another outside leg kick from Sampo. Makovsky lands a body kick. Makovsky grabs a single leg and gets Sampo down quickly. Sampo gets rubber guard with his left leg and butterfly with his right. Makovsky is trying to pass, Sampo let's go and gets full guard. Makovsky stands, drops with a punch and passes into half guard. Sampo trying to sweep, Makovsky doesn't buy it and winds up back in full guard. Makovsky stands up and lands a big right hand. Sampo scambles and tries for an omoplata, Makovsky escapes and is back in full guard. Makovsky stands and tries to pass the legs, Sampo regains his feet. Makovsky lands a superman punch, not a lot of sting on it but it landed. They clinch, Sampo lands a couple of decent body shots. Sampo pushing forward, shoots, stuffed easily by Makovsky. Knee to the body by Makovsky, then an outside leg kick from Makovsky to end the round.

ROUND TWO: Head kick from Makovsky, mostly blocked but he was leaning into it. Makovsky shoots, gets the single and gets Sampo down for a moment before Sampo regains his feet. Sampo lands a right hand. Body kick from Makovsky lands. Makovsky misses a spinning backfist, rather badly. Makovsky shoots a double this time and finishes it. Sampo has double butterfly guard, Makovsky passes into half guard. Sampo tries to sweep again, he's using that to try and regain full guard. Makovsky keeps half guard this time. Sampo hip escapes and gets full guard again. Makovsky stands up and is looking to come down with a left, and does. Sampo gets to his knees, Makovsky gets the front headlock. Sampo hand fights and escapes. Outside leg kick from Makovsky. Makovsky keeps showing a straight left, lands an uppercut. Head kick by Makovsky blocked easily. Sampo throws a head kick, blocked. Sampo pushes forward with a combiantion, Makovsky gets close and hits another takedown. Sampo tries a very loose armbar to end the round.

ROUND THREE: Sampo misses a kick. Makovsky lands a straight left, then a jab. Sampo pushes forward but is missing his combinations. Makovsky lands a jab. Sampo pushes Makovsky off of a kick and gets Makovsky down. Makovsky tries to push him off, looks for a sweep, Sampo calmly trying to keep position. Sampo in half guard now, Makovsky looking for a sweep. It's not working for him. Sampo pulls Makovsky away from the fence, Makovsky gets back to it but can't seem to get up. Sampo lands a couple of punches but Makovsky escapes to his feet. Sampo lands a right to the body. Makovsky lands a crisp left hand. Makovsky grabs a single, gets Sampo down. Sampo has butterfly guard again, Makovsky passes to half guard, stands up and tries to pass again. They wind up back where they started, Makovsky in half guard working towards another pass. Makovsky lands some body shots. Sampo gets back to his feet but wont land a miracle strike and the round ends.

ROUND ONE: Sterling misses a body kick. Sterling with a front kick to the face that lands. Sterling dodges a couple of kicks from Gibson. Sterling tries a single, nothing doing, Sterling lands a knee to the head on the way out. Gibson shoots, gets a single, but can't finish it. Sterling moves forward, this time Gibson gets a double and hads Sterling down. Sterling gets up, Gibson gets behind him but misses a head kick and falls down. Sterling ducks under a wild punch, gets the back standing and gets a takedown. Gibson gets half guard against the fence, regains full guard. Sterling trying to posture, Gibson looks for a sweep, Sterling stands and gets the front head lock while Gibson is on all fours. Sterling tries a front choke, bails on it and they're trading again. Sterling gets close and they're clinched against the fence. Sterling landing knees to the leg and one to the head. Gibson tries to spin Sterling, can't do it. Sterling drops down for a double, nothing doing, they're gonna fight in the clinch to end the round.

ROUND TWO: Both men come out with kicks and punches, both men missing to start. Gibson tries a winging right hook. They clinch up and Gibson lands a knee, then pushes Sterling against the fence. They trade knees to the body. Gibson pushing Sterling against the fence. Gibson gets the back standing, Sterling turns into him. Gibson has the body lock. Gibson trips a leg and has Sterling down for a moment. Sterling regains his feet, then gets taken down again. This time Gibson passes into half guard. Sterling trying to regain his feet, Gibson working to keep him on the mat. Gibson gets the back, Sterling tries to shake him off but Gibson doesn't fall for it. They're standing and Sterling pushes Gibson into the fence, lands some knees. Sterling lands a couple of short punches before they break. Cody ducks a spinning attack and gets the back of Sterling. Sterling stands up, turns into Gibson and pushes him into the fence. Sterling tries a double, but Gibson has an arm in guillotine. He tries to adjust it and Sterling escapes the choke to end the round.

ROUND THREE: Touch of the gloves to start the third. Sterling has a head kick blocked. Leg kick from Sterling. Sterling gets a double and has Gibson down. Gibson has butterfly guard, looking for a sweep, can't quite finish it. Sterling looking for a d'arce choke. He's working on it, has the full grip now. Gibson defends and gets to his feet. Gibson coming forward now and swinging. Sterling slips, Gibson tries for a guillotine, can't get the grip and Sterling is on top in half guard again. Sterling working the body. Sterling really working the body with punches. Gibson gives up his back, Sterling gets his hooks in and looks to land punches. Gibson ties up his arms, Sterling switches to a body triangle and looks for the rear naked choke. Gibson hand fights, Sterling loses the grip. Gibson goes belly down and Sterling begins landing punches, then locks in the choke as the round ends.

ROUND ONE: No touch of the gloves. Leg kick for Davis. Eye throws a combination. They clinch up and Davis lands a knee to the body. Eye pushing Davis into the fence now. Davis lands some knees to the body, they break and Eye lands a couple of punches. Leg kick from Davis. Eye lands a stiff jab, Davis lands a thrust kick to the face. Eye clinches up and pushes Davis into the fence. Eye trying to get a trip, not really happening. Ref breaks them. Leg kick from Davis, and another. They get close and throw punches, then clinch up. Eye lands a punch on the break. Davis lands another leg kick. They clinch up and throw punches again. Eye trying to trip or throw, Davis tries a trip, neither woman is successful. Davis pushes Eye into the cage and starts landing knees to the thigh and body. They break, and Davis misses a leg kick. Eye lands a punch. Davis get's an interview. She thought it was a great fight, thinks this was a good win over a very tough opponent. Davis says she should have thrown more leg kicks, that she's one of the top female fighters and wants the next shot at the title.
Welterweight Bout: Stephen Thompson (170.5) vs. Robert Whittaker (170)
ROUND ONE: Touch of the gloves. Thompson is fighting southpaw, switches to orthodox and lands a leg kick. Whittaker misses a head kick. Inside leg kick from Thompson. Whittaker lands a jab. Body punch from Thompson. Leg kick from Thompson. Thompson just misses an axe kick. Body kick from Thompson. Whittaker is trying to find him, but can't seem to get his punches to land. Thompson is just outworking Whittaker so far. Hook kick to the head lands for Thompson. Whittaker is able to land the jab, but his follow up punches are missing. Body kick from Thompson. Thompson lands a big right, Whittaker goes down. Whittaker gets up but is dropped again, Thompson swarms him and the ref steps in.

Joe Rogan is with Thompson. Thompson says the more he does this the more comfortable he gets, and that he's a striker at heart. He doesn't think he's the best MMA fighter but he's working on it. Watching the replay he says he's cautious when his opponent goes down because he's seen guys rush in and lose because of it, but he felt Whittaker wasn't getting up so he swarmed him.
Welterweight Bout: Mike Pyle (171) vs. TJ Waldburger (171)
ROUND ONE: Touch of the gloves. Leg kick from Waldburger. Leg kick from Pyle, Waldburger just misses a right hand. Leg kick from Pyle lands. Both men land inside leg kicks. They clinch, Pyle with a knee to the body. Waldburger pushes Pyle into the fence and looks for a single. Pyle slips away. Head kick from Waldburger misses, he slips but Pyle can't get on top of him. Waldburger lands a left hook. Waldburger lands a right hand, then a leg kick. They clinch, Pyle lands a knee, Waldburger tries a trip but Pyle reverses and gets on top of Waldburger. Pyle on top, in half guard, working to pass. Pyle gets into side control. Pyle working punches, with the occasional knee to the body. Waldburger escapes to his feet and shoots, they clinch against the fence. Pyle tries for a knee to the head, doesn't quite land flush and Waldburger drops for a double. Pyle gets an interview. Pyle says Rogan's summation was adequate so he doesn't have to say much. Pyle says the leg kicks were hard but he was prepared for a battle and that's what he got. Pyle says Waldburger actually escaped the guillotine so he stayed in mount. Pyle says Herb Dean gave the fight a hard look but he felt Waldburger was still moving until he got him flattened out and was landing the elbow. Pyle ends by thanking his sponsors and saying he'd like to be ranked in the top ten.
Welterweight Bout: Rory MacDonald (171) vs. Demian Maia (170)
ROUND ONE: No touch of the glvoes, Maia fights southpaw. Both men come out and strike, but Maia shoots immediately, stuffed. Maia get's a single leg and pulls MacDonald under him. MacDonald has full guard, Maia trying to pass. Maia trying to step over MacDonald's guard. Maia looking to land some elbows, MacDonald trying to keep Maia from passing. Maia passes into full mount. Maia lands some short punches. MacDonald tries to push him off, doesn't work, Maia still has full mount. MacDonald hip bumps but can't quite escape. MacDonald rolls under, Maia rolls with him and still basically has mount. MacDonald trying to regain some defensive posture. MacDonald gets double butterfly guard. MacDonald keeps trying to get Maia off him, but Maia is not going to be moved. MacDonald gets back up, Maia shoots immediately but it's stuffed. MacDonald with a head kick, blcoked. MacDonald gets the mic. He says he was trying to stay calm in the first round when Maia was on top of him in the first round because if he got anxious he could get finished. MacDonald says he fought to make a statement, that his inner beast is back and he wants a title shot.
Light heavyweight Bout: Daniel Cormier (205) vs. Pat Cummins (205)
ROUND ONE: No touch of the gloves. Leg kick from Cummins. Cummins reaches for a takedown, nothing doing. Body kick from Cummins. Cormier lands an uppercut in the clinch. Cormier is beating Cummins to the punch. Cormier is landing his right hand, lands an uppercut and Cummins goes down. Cormier on top and pounds him out.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Daniel Cormier via TKO at 1:19 of Round 1
Rogan is with Cormier. Cormier says this fight had to end this way after the trash talk, Cormier says he's mad because Cummins actually hit him twice, it had to end this way. Cormier says if you talk you have to back it up, then says Cummins has a bright future. Cormier says he feels near the top of the new division and if either Jones or Teixeira gets injured prior to the title fight to put him in there.
Female bantamweight Bout: UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (135) vs. Sara McMann (135)
ROUND ONE: McMann lands a couple of right hands. Rousey clinches up, McMann lands a knee to the body, and another. Rousey lands some short rights, McMann lands a hard one to the head. They clinch again, Rousey misses an elbow. Rousey lands an elbow in the clinch, then a knee to the liver, and McMann goes down! The ref stops it.

Rousey says the gameplan was to hit the body since no one had really tried that and as a wrestler she fought bent over. She says she was aiming at the same spot on the body, and eventually it would work. Rousey acknowledges the booing, thanks her friends and family before exiting.
Now Rogan with McMann. She thinks it was a good fight, she got hit in the liver and looks forward to going back to the drawing board, earning another title shot. She says she should have got back to her feet quicker to give Herb Dean a reason to let the fight keep going.
