411’s UFC 173 Report 5.24.14
Posted by Robert Winfree on 05.25.2014

Hello everyone, thank you for joining 411mania's live coverage of UFC 173. Unfortunately, I've got to start off with this.

 photo barrett-600x359_zps520d1633.png

You see, I'm Robert Winfree, and it's recently been brought to my attention that I have a seriously adverse impact on shows that I cover. Over the last few months I've covered several MMA events here, and well, they all kind of were let downs. Poor pacing, strings of bad fights, whatever the case might be, when I'm covering something it tends to be less than great. So, there's your warning, whatever power is cursing me and events I cover is more than likely going to strike tonight. You have been warned. Given the number of fights likely to go the distance, or the amount of downtime due to mismatches on tonight's card, you should check out some of the fine podcasts over on the Radulich in Broadcasting network, including the 411 Ground and Pound radio show which goes live ever Sunday at 8pm eastern time.

New Pop Culture Internet Radio with Mark Radulich on BlogTalkRadio

I'm calling out Varner's corner for not throwing in the towel. Your job is to look out for your fighter's health, if you see that he can't move his leg properly you should stop the fight.
