He has side control, mount now and he tries a head and arm choke. Some shots to the ribs of Leggett, to their feet and against the cage. Leggett with a takedown, gets top and a few shots. He works for the back, Varner stands and SLAMS Leggett on his head! Varner with shots and we get time because Leggett got hit in the back of the head and Varner loses a point. Varner has a cut on the forehead. Back to action and Varner gets a nice high kick, tries another and Leggett grabs it and works a leg lock, to their feet now and they clinch. Varner slams Leggett again and gets side control. Mount now and some shots by Varner. He gets the back and gets a body lock, rolls into a choke but lets go as he didn't have it good. Back to mount and elbows by Varner. He gets his back again and rains down with shots on Leggett and that is all.

-The Result: Jamie Varner visa RD 1 TKO

Varner says losing the point didn't hurt him. The stoppage helped Leggett a bit, but he took care of business. He'll fight whomever WEC says to, it's all about the money.

Nice combo by Filho and takes Doerksen down, he rains down with punches, tons of punches and Doerksen holds on to a leg and Filho is landing at will. Doerksen manages to get to his feet and Filho takes him down again, more punches and the fight is stopped!

-The Result: NEW MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION Paulo Filho via RD 1 TKO

Mir is with Paulo Filho. Filho says he is happy and glad to represent WEC. He came in prepared, and Joe put up a great fight but he just had to let his hands go and that won it for him.

-Back from commercial and we talk with Jens Pulver. Jens says this is a good career move for him. They have the 145lb division, which is he more comfortable at. They have great fighters and a great champion. This is his weight and will debut in September against Cub Swanson. Jens puts over that WEC is NOT a minor league and he came here by choice.

Condit tries an arm bar, gets it, Larson picks him up and SLAMS him on his head BUT Condit holds on…and that is all as Mazzigatti stops the bout before his arm is ripped off.

-The Result: Carlos Condit retains via RD 1 Stoppage

Mir is with Condit, who hugs Larson before he talks. Condit says he is always ready to arm bar a man, he didn't expect to use it, but he did. He says he had technique over strength. He'll fight anyone put in front of him.
