The Ultimate Fighter 7: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest
Episode 6
Previously: Dante defeated Brandon, causing Rampage to knock over street signs. HYPE FOR JEREMY VS. MATT~!
Opening Video
Luke thinks pissing off Matt is a bad idea. Tim puts Matt over as the toughest guy he's ever been around. At the house, Team Rampage, including Jeremy, are taking shots. He said he's had 12 or 13 shots. Jeremy pours out a bottle of vodka, fills it with water, and makes people think that he's taking shots. Chuck Liddell does the same thing.
Jeremy's fighting style is, "Jeremy-jitsu, it's a combination of whatever it takes to beat your ass." Jeremy is sparring and he hurts his knee. It doesn't seem to be too bad but he can't work out as hard as the other guys, which sucks for him since he's about to fight.
At Team Forrest training, Matt has some crazy look on his face. He says he grew up in the streets with a lot of street fights and drugs, meaning some ESPN journalist will write an article about him. "If the guy is gonna beat us up in training, the least he can do is hurt someone in a fight" says Forrest.
Jeremy weighs in at 184, Matt weighs in at 183.5. Matt is SUPER SERIOUS~! During the staredown, including the fake punch technique but Jeremy doesn't flinch. Matthew tells Matt that Jeremy hurt his knee and that Matt should leg kick him. Matthew and Jeremy are on the same team but Matthew can't stand Jeremy.
JEREMY FAKES A KNEE INJURY~! He's clearly a pro-wresling fan. His knee was hurt, but not as bad as led to believe. He obviously didn't want to job to Matt so he came up with a knee injury. Must be a Shawn Michaels fan. He's my new favorite fighter.
Matt Brown (Team Forrest) vs. Jeremy May (Team Rampage)
Round 1: Jeremy comes out swinging but everything is getting blocked. Jeremy misses with a front kick and Matt knocks him down. Matt pushes the legs aside and moves to side control. He quickly passes to mount. Jeremy bucks him off and almost gets caught in an arm bar but Jeremy slams out of it. Jeremy tries to pass by sweeping the legs aside but Matt gets up and takes Jeremy down. Matt pounds on Jeremy from the top. Jeremy works his way to his feet. Matt connects with jabs and Jeremy looks gassed. Matt connects with a big knee and a head kick that knocks Jeremy down and out.
Winner – Matt Brown by KO
Forrest was getting pissed at Jeremy because, "HE DIDN'T UNLEASH THE ANIMAL." They show a highlight of Forrest screaming his ass off during the fight. It ruled. Rampage says that Jeremy just gassed. Matt says, "My foot got hurt from his face." Jeremy says that not training because of his knee hurt his cardio. Nice job realizing that now.
Team Forrest sits down to pick the next fight. Two guys want to fight so they flip a coin.
Team Forrest picks Luke to fight Daniel. Dan is the pretty boy of the group and an all around nice guy by all accounts. Rampage wants to know how Forrest is picking fights and Forrest tells him that he's flipping a coin. Rampage is skeptical about this strategy. Dana thinks things are getting tense between Rampage and Forrest because Rampage doesn't like losing.
At Team Forrest training, Luke reveals that he trains with Jorge Grugel, which means he's destined to be a bridesmaid. Luke was picked last so he holds a grudge there. At Team Rampage training, Dan works on his takedowns against the cage. Rampage says that Dan has an iron chin.
Luke Zachrich (Team Forrest) vs. Daniel Cramer (Team Rampage)
Round 1: They do a lot of clinching and swing and missing to start. Dan pushes Luke into the fence. Dan throws some knees to the leg before a break. Another clinch against the fence and the both go to the ground. They're up quickly. Dan comes forward with a series of punches. Luke throws Dan to the ground but he's up and they clinch. Dan throws some strong punches in the clinch. Dan unloads with punches as Luke drops his hands. Dirty boxing by Dan. Big right hands by Dan. Luke fires back with some punches. Luke takes him down and mounts him. Dan gives up his back. Luke tries for a rear naked choke but can't finish. Luke rides the back of Dan as the round ends. Very close round but I think the judges will give it to Luke.
Round 2: They come out swinging. Dan gets the trip takedown and quickly moves to mount. Short elbows by Dan. Luke gives up his back. Dan turns him back into mount and comes down with multiple punches. Luke covers up and the ref stops it.
Winner – Daniel Cramer
Dana loved this fight. Rampage recaps the entire fight in 30 seconds and finishes it with, "best fight I've seen in a long time." Watch this episode just to see Rampage's recap of this fight. Rampage was excited just to win a fight and Cramer was happy that he pleased his coach. Luke wasn't happy with his performance.
The show ends with Rampage dancing and it RULES~!
Next Week: 2 more fights plus Rampage and Forrest finally get pissed at each other. "My two class clowns want to Ken and Tito each other" says Dana.
Show Comments: Good show this week. The in house stuff was limited, which was fine because the two fights more than made up for it. Jeremy was a moron for milking a knee injury and not training and he paid for it in the end. Matt didn't have that HYPED killer instinct but his performance was good and the head kick ruled. Luke and Dan beat the hell out of each other and it was awesome. Rampage was hilarious as always and is reason enough to watch this weeks show. Factor that in with two great fights and this week's show is can't miss.
Rampage was laugh out loud/spit take funny. What a character that guy is. Matt was a bit of a dissapointment in his lackluster performance after all his hype, but his knockout was pretty damn cool! Jeremy deserved a bigger beatdown for being such a douche, but he still got KO'd so that's good heh. Forrest sounded like a little 13 year old boy with his voice cracking away throughout his scream-fest to unleash the animal. The second fight slugfest didn't really show much of either guy except they can throw a lot, and take a lot, of punches. None of them looked particularily hard though. Rampage's fight plan for Dan was hilarious though.

Matt wasn't a disappointment. He stalked jeremy, he was biding his time. He never looked away, never looked gassed. He's got that stalker killer instinct. you don't have to go in swingin and tryin to cripple someone with a left hook.
Punchin out was what winded Jeremy. That and his retarted idea to play mind games. "oh! i'm in hsi head, he thinks i'm drinking a lot... but i'm really jsut not training and my cardio is shot all to hell!" Genius kid. Genius.
