It's the final first round fight on TUF7 as the top pick in the competition CB battles Nick, Forrest and Rampage shoot each other with gadgets, and the quarterfinal fights are set.
The Ultimate Fighter 7: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest
Episode 8
Previously: Gerald beat up Amir but Amir won with a flash KO, Cale beat Patrick and Rampage bet that his fight with Forrest didn't go to decision. CB fights Nick tonight.
Opening Video
Dana talks about the Cale vs. Patrick fight, saying Patrick looked great in the 1st round. Rampage was happy with how Patrick performed in the 1st as well. Dana scored the 2nd round 10-8 for Cale and so did the judges.
Forrest goes to the locker room after Rampage makes his decision comment and DESTROYS the door. Forrest is jumping around like Chuck Liddell before a fight, which means he's ready to fight. "Forrest just donkey konged the door." Dana explains the judges decision to Rampage. Forrest tells his trainers to keep to keep Patrick away from him and the next thing you know, Patrick walks into the room. Patrick apologizes to Forrest and he accepts. They hug. DAMNIT! I wanted to see Forrest destroy this geek.
Matthew thinks Team Forrest sacrificed Nick to CB, the best fighter in the house. Nick thinks he's the weakest link on the team. Well, we know this guy is losing.
Team Forrest training session, Nick works on his all around. Forrest mentions that Nick got worse in his prelim fight and that he's been getting beat up during training. He did mention that he's improved though. Forrest walks in with a net gun and has no idea how it works. They shoot the gun at a training dummy. For those that haven't seen Rob & Big, a net gun is pretty much the greatest invention ever. Some guys on Team Forrest get the bright idea to, "shoot Rampage with it and then run like hell." Forrest is down with this idea.
At Team Rampage training, Rampage is sitting in the corner after sparring. Forrest runs up and catches him in the corner with the net gun. Rampage makes fun of Forrest's, "chicken headed trainer" and then is SHAMED that he got netted on national TV. We get a montage of CB training and he looks pretty damn good. CB thinks he's the best guy in the house and Rampage says that CB has a big ego. Matthew taps out CB with a kneebar in training and Rampage laughs at him. CB gives him a middle kick and IT'S ON~! Rampage rolls with CB and CB TAPS HIM WITH PERUBIAN NECK TIE~! I'd laugh if Forrest won in July with that same hold.
At Team Forrest training, we learn that Nick is a farmboy. Strike 2. The coaches tell Nick to put CB on his back because CB is a wrestler. Forrest says that Nick has good striking and that if he can scramble, he's got a good chance of winning in the exchanges.
Both fighters make weight. Rampage points out that Nick has monkies on his boxers. Rampage tells CB that he needs to win this fight for the team. CB keeps referring to himself in the 3rd person, thus making me hate him because he's not The Rock.
Luke thinks CB is overrated and Nick is underrated. Yes, Luke is a member of Team Forrest. The guys tell Nick that there's no pressure on him and it's all on CB.
CB Dollaway (Team Rampage) vs. Nick Klein (Team Forrest)
Round 1: Middle kick caught by Nick. Nick takes him down but CB looks to have a guillotine. CB floats over and gets the back of Nick. Nick rolls and tries to catch CB in a heel hook. CB gets out and gets his back again. Nick rolls into guard. Nick tries to catch CB in an armbar or triangle but CB pushes his legs aside and gets his back. Nick rolls back into guard. CB lands some punches and elbows from guard. CB passes to side control but Nick rolls him into half guard. Nick puts CB back in half guard but CB comes down with multiple punches from the position. Nick tries to push him away but CB gets his back. Nick rolls back into guard. Nick goes for an armbar but CB locks his hands. The round ends. 10-9 CB.
Round 2: Leg kick by CB. Leg kick followed by a combo by CB. Nick pulls guard. Nick goes for an armbar but CB pulls out and gets his back. Nick rolls into guard. Nick continues to go for an armbar or triangle and eats a lot of punches in doing so. CB gets his back again. Nick tries for a leg lock but CB rolls out and locks in a guillotine for the victory,
Winner – CB Dollaway by Submission
Dana, Rampage, and CB all said Nick did a lot better than they thought he would.
Nick wanted to throw hands a bit more. "You exposed him as a guy with really good back position" says Forrest. CB is happy that it's every man for himself now. At the house, Cale makes fun of CB and Matthew for wearing glasses. Forrest finally lives up to his word and lets Amir shave his head while Rampage is in the locker room with a super soaker. Forrest is off to take a shower when Rampage shoots him with the super soaker.
Dana, Rampage, and Forrest sit down to make the quarterfinal fights. They call in CB and he says he wants to fight Cale. Matt says he doesn't want to fight anyone on Team Forrest so Rampage suggests fighting CB. Most of the guys want to fight Cale or Dan.
Quarterfinal Fights:
Jesse vs. Dante
Amir vs. Matt
Dan vs. Tim
CB vs. Cale
End Show
Next Week: The teams get shuffled, Jesse fights Dante, and Amir fights Matt.
Show Comments: Another good fight this week but holy hell I can't stand CB. Good fighter and he'll will probably be in the finals but his smuggish attitude turns me off. The hijinx between Rampage and Forrest was fun for what it was but didn't want to make me see them fight or anything. Thumbs up show.
Amen on CB being hard to like. I hate that I can't see anyone in the house beating him. Rampage's disrespect rant about being netted was awesome. He is a natural in front of the camera. Forrest showed maturity in accepting that Boston penis' apology - a ton of dude's wouldn't have let it go (i.e. Karo and Nate two seasons ago)

For people who dislike Dollaway (the guy I picked to win the show since he was announced a participating on it), check out this quote of his from the TUF 7 Blog - "I wish I could sit here and somehow blame me talking in third person on the editing, but CB can't lie; CB pulled the "douche-bag card" out on national TV." lol

"I got netted on national tv."
Pure gold right there.

Not only was I on the "Hate the dick CB" bandwagon, I was buying the gas. That is until I read his blog at Bren's suggestion. I love it when a guy calls himself out on bad behavior as it shows maturity. He also showed a great deal of respect for Nick as well. I'm now off the bandwagon, especially because buying gas sucks.

If nothing else, Tim Credur needs a broadcasting contract. Dude is hilariousness on legs.

Everybody is waiting for Forrest and Rampage to get in some sort of altercation to provoke the fight. But, if I'm not mistaken, they are good friends.
