"King Mo" Lawal continued his rise in the MMA world turning in an impressive performance against Ryo Kawamura. Elsewhere, Sengoku kicked off their Featherweight GP with a night of exciting fights, impressive finishes, and some upsets. Click for the full report.

-Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten are our hosts. They're not live in Japan. They run down the card and highlight Featherweights LC Davis and Nam Phan.
-After a short break, Kenny and Bas return to talk about James Thompson and Kawamura vs. Lawal.
-All of the fighters are introduced to the crowd.
Featherweight GP Fight: Seiya Kawahara vs. Nick Denis
Round One: Denis throwing a lot of kicks but they're blocked for the most part. A right high kick knocks down Kawahara but he's right back to his feet. Knee in close by Denis. Denis throws another high kick but doesn't get it all. Right straight knocks down Kawahara. Denis pounces on him with hammerfists. Heavy ground and pound by Denis. Kawahara's corner throws in the towel.

-Denis grabs the mic and looks like he's about to cry as he thanks all of his trainers.
Featherweight GP Fight: Tetsuya Yamada vs. Ronnie Mann
Round One: Mann having success with the right straight. Yamada shoots but Mann sprawls. Yamada stays aggressive and completes the takedown. Yamada is in the guard of Mann. Mann sweeps and gets the mount. Yamada gives up his back but rolls back into the mount after eating some punches. Yamada escapes out the backdoor and they both go for heel hooks. Mann escapes and ends up in the guard of Yamada. Yamada uses the rubber guard to control Mann. Yamada goes for a triangle but Mann postures up, out and to his feet. Yamada goes for a flying knee bar and gets the takedown but can't finish the submission. A scramble leads to Mann goes for a heel hook. Mann gets up and to his feet. Round ends.
Round Two: Mann gets the takedown and ends up in guard. Yamada goes for a kimura but Mann pulls his arm out. Yamada using a very active guard but can't lock up anything. Mann gets to his feet and allows Yamada up. Yamada goes for a flying knee but doesn't connect and Mann ends up with the takedown and in the guard. Mann passes to half guard as Yamada goes for a kimura. Mann pulls his arm out but eats two up kicks. They stand but Mann quickly takes it back to the ground. They stand again and Mann puts Yamada on his back with a big slam. The round ends.
Round Three: Yamada scores with a headkick as Mann shoots in. They exchange big right hands. Mann gets the takedown. Yamada uses a kimura to sweep but Mann reverses back and ends up in guard. Back on the feet. Yamada throws a high kick but slips. Mann drops into his guard but quickly gets back on his feet and allows Yamada up. Mann pushes forward and Yamada falls to the ground as Mann falls into his guard. Back on the feet. Yamada connects with another head kick as Mann shoots in. Mann gets the takedown though and is in guard. Mann goes for a toe hold as Yamada goes for a knee bar. The both pull out and Yamada is in the guard of Mann. The round ends.

Round One: They come out swinging and missing. Uppercut by Ishiwatari. Ishiwatari using leg kicks. Jung pressing forward and knocks down Ishiwatari with a left hook. They end up on the ground with Jung in side control. Ishiwatari scrambles to his feet. Ishiwatari tagging Jung with the right hook. Both men throwing and connecting. Jung pressing the action but Ishiwatari countering well. Left straight by Ishiwatari rocks Jung. Jung comes back with a big right hook. Jung presses forward and ends up getting the back of Ishiwatari on the feet. Jung drags him to the ground and finishes him with the rear naked choke.

Featherweight GP Fight: Masanori Kanehara vs. Kim Jong Man
Round One: Good leg kicks by Kanehara to start. Right straight by Kanehara. Good exchange but no one gets the better of it. Superman punch by Kanhara. Kim moves in but Kanehara covers up. Kanehara counters and knocks Kim down with a left hook. Kanehara tries to finish on the ground but Kim controls him. The round ends.
Round Two: Kanehara looking for the leg kick early and often. Kim presses forward but can't connect with anything big. They clinch and Kanehara drops for a single but Kim sprawls. Kanehara completes the takedown and gets half guard. Kanehara goes for a arm triangle but can't finish it. He uses the submission to get the mount. Kim reverses and ends up in the guard of Kanehara. Kanehara pushes off and up to his feet. Kim presses forward and looks for a guillotine as Kanehara goes for a takedown but the round ends.
Round Three: Leg kicks by Kanehara as the round starts slowly. Good exchange that Kanehara gets the better of. Kanehara goes for a takedown but Kim sprawls. Kanehara goes for a trip takedown but Kim reverses and gets in the guard of Kanehara. Kim goes for a guillotine and rolls to his guard but can't finish. Kanehara passes to half guard and then to mount. Kim scrambles to his feet. The ref stops the action with 30 seconds left in the round. They both get a warning for inactivity. Kim connects with a left hook but Kanehara responds with a head kick. Kanehara gets the takedown as the round ends.

Round One: Sandro gets the takedown and is in guard. Jaggers explodes to his feet. Jaggers rushes in and Sandro gets the takedown. Sandro passes to half guard. Jaggers reverses and ends up getting side control. Sandro gets him to half guard and reverses to side control. Sandro passes to mount. Jaggers turns and ends up in the guard of Sandro. The round ends.
Round Two: Sandro gets an easy takedown. Sandro passes to side control but Jaggers gets him back in half guard. Jaggers gets to his feet but Sandro locks in a side choke on the feet. Jaggers passes out.

Featherweight GP Fight: L.C. Davis vs. Michihiro Omigawa
Round One: They clinch but neither can get the trip takedown. Omigawa finally gets the trip takedown and ends up in half guard. Omigawa passes to side control. Omigawa passes to mount. Davis holds on to Omigawa and doesn't allow him to posture. Davis gives up his back. Davis rolls back into the full mount. Omigawa lands some good punches. Omigawa goes for an armbar but he can't flatten out Davis. The round ends.
Round Two: Davis gets the better of an exchange. They clinch and Omigawa gets the takedown into half guard. Davis scrambles and gets to his feet. Davis pressing the action but not connecting. They clinch and trade knees to the body. The ref breaks them. They clinch again as the round ends.
Round Three: Davis jabbing but no power behind the shots. Omigawa gets another trip takedown into half guard. Davis puts him in guard. Omigawa stands above Davis, pushes the legs aside, and gets side control. Omigawa goes for a guillotine. Davis survives and Omigawa gives up the choke. Davis in guard now. Omigawa sweeps him into mount. Ground and pound by Omigawa. The round ends.

Round One: Thompson rushes forward and misses. York drops him but Thompson survives. York locks in a standing guillotine. Thompson survives and they break. Thompson gets a takedown but York is up quickly. Straight right by York. Big left by Thompson. Short exchanges that York gets the better of. They clinch. The ref breaks them. York drops him with a straight left and the ref stops it.

Featherweight GP Fight: Hideki Kadowaki vs. Nam Phan
Round One: Phan getting the better of the early exchanges. Both men going to the body. Kadowaki having success with the straight jab. Phan scoring with the body shot. Right hook drops Kadowaki and he pounds him out for the victory.

Featherweight GP Fight: Hatsu Hioki vs. Chris Manuel
Round One: Hioki easily gets the body lock takedown and is in half guard. Hioki going for an arm triangle and uses the position to get the back on Manuel. Hioki goes for an armbar but can't finish. Manuel gets to his feet. Hioki gets another takedown and is in side control. Hioki goes for a kimura and uses it to mount. Good ground and pound by Hioki. Hioki gets a top triangle choke and Manuel taps out.

Light Heavyweight Fight (Main Event): Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal vs. Ryo Kawamura
Round One: Big takedown by Lawal. Kawamura gets up. Dirty boxing by Lawal and he takes him back down. Lawal has the turtle position. Kawamura gets up and Lawal dumps him with a suplex. Kawamura gets up but Lawal has his back on the feet. Another slam by Lawal. Kawamura up again but Lawal still has his back. The ref breaks them. Kawamura rushes in and Lawal gets the takedown. Back on the feet. Another takedown by Lawal. Lawal punishes him in the turtle position. The round ends.
Round Two: Lawal catches Kawamura with an accidental eye poke. Kawamura rests and is ready to go again. Lawal catches him with another poke to the eye. Lawal is given a yellow card. Lawal catches a body kick and takes him to the ground. He has his back on the feet. Knees to the thighs by Lawal. Kawamura spins out. Another takedown by Lawal and he has the turtle position again.
