The Ultimate Fighter 7: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest
Episode 4

Previously: Paul got sent home and Patrick was brought back. Jesse defeated Mike in the first tournament fight.

Opening Video

We get a recap of Jesse vs. Mike. Jesse went for the rear naked choke 100 times or so and finally secured it for the win.

The guys begin to drink at the house, which means things will be getting destroyed. Jesse opens and closes a door with some ugly looking shades that end up falling off. Matthew and Dante have a little back and forth. Dante says that he'll retire if Matthew beats him.

At Team Rampage training, Rampage says that he learned a lot from the first loss. He seems to be helping out his guys a bit more and giving them more one on one time. Rampage pushes his guys hard but also wants to be their friends. Rampage asks CB who he thinks the next fight will be and CB thinks Team Forrest will pick Patrick to fight since he lost in the elimination fights. "Forrest looks stupid but he ain't as stupid as he looks," states Rampage. Patrick thinks he's going to fight Dante. Rampage tells Patrick to keep it on the feet because Rampage submitted him and Rampage sucks at jui-jitsu.

Jesse has some type of fungus so the guys spray BOOM! TOUGH ACTIN TANACTIN! On him. Matthew really wants to fight and thinks that no one wants to fight him. I don't like this guy.

Forrest picks Tim to fight Matthew in the next fight. Tim asks Forrest for this fight and Forrest agreed. I hope Matthew gets his ass kicked.

Tim wants to fight the best and he thinks Matthew is one of them. He thinks Matthew is a bit overconfident after his elimination fight where he broke that guys jaw.

Dante bets Matthew 500 dollars that he loses the fight. Matthew says he isn't a betting man. Dante is just trying to get into the head of Matthew. Matthew doesn't think he's going to lose but still doesn't want to bet. Dante acts and sounds like Matt Serra, thus making him awesome.

At Team Forrest training, we see Tim working on his stand up and ground game. Tim gets Forrest Griffin Hair© when he fights. At Team Rampage training, Matthew works on his stand up and takedowns.

Matthew weighs in at 183 while Tim weighs in at 186. Tim talks shit during the staredown, leading Team Rampage to believe that he's scared. Matthew thinks that Tim has more to lose by losing this fight because he's older. Tim knows he has more to lose.

Tim says that he's going to make him feel his MAN strength. HE'S A MAN! HE'S 30! COME FIGHT HIM!

Tim Credeur (Team Forrest) vs. Matthew Riddle (Team Rampage)

Round 1: Matthew shoots early but Tim sprawls. Matthew takes his back on the feet and drags him down. Matthew has his back on the ground but doesn't have any hooks. Tim works himself free and both men get to their feet. Matthew throws Tim to the ground and in side control. Tim does a good job getting him back to guard and to the feet. Tim gets the takedown and slams him near the cage. Matthew scores with a good up kick. Matthew rolls and gets the back of Tim. Tim rolls for a knee bar but Matthew spins out and into guard. Tim rolls him over and gets the mount. Tim lands a bunch of punches and elbows from the mount. Matthew gives up his back and goes for a rear naked choke but the round ends. Close first round and it looks like Matthew's nose is broken.

Round 2: Matthew works hard and gets a quick takedown. Tim bucks him over and gets in Matthew's guard. Tim has Matthew pressed up against the cage. Matthew kicks Tim in the face while Tim has both knees on the ground. He only gets a warning. Tim punches and elbows Matthew in the face. Matthew finally gets to his feet and gets the takedown. All I can hear is Rampage screaming "Get up" when Matthew is on bottom and "Let him up" when Matthew is on top. Matthew is in the guard of Tim but not doing too much. Tim goes for a triangle but can't get it. He ends up rolling over and into an armbar. Matthew taps out.

Winner – Tim Credeur by Submission

Rampage is upset with Matthew because he wanted him to stand up. Rampage thinks that the broken nose affected Matthew because it ruined his good looks. Forrest didn't want Tim going for the armbar because he knew that Tim could ride out the round on top.

Rampage talked to Matthew after the fight and is still upset that he took down Tim when he had him beat on the feet. Rampage isn't mad, he's disappointed.

Next Week: Rampage blows up. MICHAEL BISPING IS BROUGHT IN AS AN ASSISTANT COACH~!

Show Comments: Another good show this week topped off by another really good fight. Interesting that Forrest wanted his guy to ride out the round instead of finishing. Tim was smart not too listen because the cardinal MMA rule is to not leave it in the hands of the judges. I'm glad Matthew lost as I didn't like him from the opening scene of this show. If Tim gets some cardio he could do well on this show but a guy who can push a hell of a pace is going to easily outwork him. This week did lack the greatness of Rampage, Forrest, and Dana though.

The coaches need to tell the rest of thier teams to shut up- there is almost a roar during the 2nd round- you and barely hear either coach- I know in a real UFC ring you have noise but you don;t need that here

Also where was the "cheating" that they kept using to pimp the show? The upkicks?
