411's The Ultimate Fighter 8 Report 11.05.08: Episode 8

It's more pranks on this weeks Ultimate Fighter as team members inject body fluids into foods. Plus a Lightweight fight that ends quickly.

Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir
Episode 8

Previously: Team Mir pulled a bunch of pranks, Junie made no friends, Vinny won. Lightweights fight tonight.

Opening Video

We get a recap of Vinny vs. Jules, that featured nothing on the feet followed by a beautiful armbar by Vinny. Team Nog has been stealing Tom's fruit tray as a joke. Tom discovers his eaten fruit tray and now he's plotting revenge. Tom decides to piss in his fruit tray so when the other team eats it…well, you guys get the picture. This prank is so wrong yet so funny. Other Team Mir members decide to add their juices to the fruit. At the fight announcement, Mir picks Dave (Team Mir) to take on Phillipe. As usual, both coaches love the match up.

Team Nog comes home from practice, takes the fruit tray, and begins eating it. They're enjoying the fruit until Dave tells them that it's filled with piss. Team Nog immediately stops eating and begins throwing up. Kyle thinks the fruit tasted better than normal. No fight breaks out over this prank unfortunately.

Dave was a division one wrestler in college and then trained thai boxing in Holland. Looks to be a pretty powerful striker. Mir gets that coach/student attachment to Dave, the same attachment that we see on every season.

Phillipe notices that his sushi has been missing. Someone snitches that Dave has been eating Phillipe's sushi. Junie believes that no one will train with him at practice. He thinks Dave is scared to roll with him and Junie gets frustrated. Team Nog grabs the sushi, puts cum in it, and puts it back in the fridge for someone on Team Mir to eat. There has to be a fight over this one. Team Nog confirms that Dave ate the sushi and they now want to sing a song called, "I ate someone's seamen". Dave gets upset because he didn't piss in the fruit yet get pranked back with the sushi. Dave threatens to fire the next shot with an even more disgusting prank.

Phillipe is a nurse, like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents. He feels that he's made for the cage. Phillipe cooks duck egg, which is pretty much a cooked baby duck before it hatches. This has to be a PETA violation.

Dave weighs in at 156 while Phillipe comes in at 156 as well. Dave belives Phillipe is better than him at, "being Philippine". Junie talks to Phillipe about the fight with Dave. He says that Dave throws with a lot of power but has no ground skills. Junie doesn't like Dave because he talks too much. Pot. Kettle. Black. Nogueira comes over for dinner. Nog thinks Team Mir is a good group of individuals but a bad team.

Lightweight Fight: Dave Kaplan (Team Mir) vs. Phillipe Nover (Team Nogueira)

Round One Recap: Phillipe dropped him early, pounded him on the ground, and then finished with a rear naked choke about a minute in.

Winner: Phillipe Nover by Submission

Junie is glad to see Dave lose. Phillipe believes he's the toughest unregistered nurse on the planet. Dana says that Phillipe reminds him of Georges St. Pierre being that young and talented. Dave still believes he's a better fighter and Mir believes that Dave is still the best Lightweight in the house.

Next Week: Dave drinks a lot, COACHES CHALLENGE~! Final Light Heavyweight fight.

Show Comments: Solid show this week. The pranks were disgusting and I thought for sure someone would take it personal but everyone handled it well and it looks like the pranks will continue. There was nothing to the fight except that Phillipe looks to be really good.
