The Sprawl And Brawl Video Review 12.04.07: King Of The Cage - All Stars
Posted by Randy Harrison on 12.04.2007

Hello again all my fellow 411'ers and welcome to another edition of The Sprawl and Brawl. This week in honor of Urijah Faber's upcoming WEC title defense against Jeff Curran, we're going to be looking at his last fight in the King Of The Cage promotion before he began his reign of terror over the WEC, as Urijah main events the event we're checking out this week, King Of The Cage: All Stars. On the card as well is Pride veteran Akira Shoji, who will be looking to get a win in the United States against a tough opponent in Kyacey Uscola. There's lots of action to get to this week, so away we go everybody!

King Of The Cage: All Stars is a part of this five disc King of the Cage box set available here
Reviews of previous events in this set can be found here and here

King Of The Cage: All Stars

Erik Apple welcomes us to Reno, NV and he hypes the card, starting with the undercard fights. Tyson Johnson welcomes us to the Reno Events Center and does his "are you ready?" spiel but this time it comes with an echo...echo...echo..OOOOOH that's fancy!!

Match One: Lightweights
Ben Sattler (0-0) vs. Cody Canterbury(1-0)

Just to state it right now, the production values even from the previous DVD's in this set have been raised exponentially with better chyron graphics and an actual tale of the tape with photos of each fighter, their affiliations, etc underneath. A VERY nice touch and something that I really appreciate from a smaller promotion. Hopefully it stays this way for every fight.

Round One

Referee "Blind" Cecil Peoples gets us underway with this one and they touch gloves as Canterbury tries an overhand right that misses and then pushes Sattler up against the fence, working some shots to the body and a hard knee to the side of the head. Sattler replies with a knee of his own, and Canterbury takes the Thai clinch, hitting a couple of knees and then using it to score some uppercuts, pushing Sattler back against the fence. At this point the door pops open and out goes Sattler to the floor. Your winner by escape Ben Sattler...wait..this isn't wrestling nevermind. Sattler's corner calls bullshit and is SCREAMING at the officials about the door not being locked properly.

The doctor's are checking on Sattler and he's holding his elbow and his shoulder after the fall down the ring steps, but it looks like he wants to continue. The crowd boos the fact that he fell, but then gets behind him with a roar when he gets back into the cage. Cecil shoving his fat ass against the door testing it after it's been re-locked. Why couldn't it have let go when HE was doing that. Anyhow, we're back to action and Canterbury throws another overhand and a big right uppercut that glances against Sattler, before hitting another knee. Sattler shoots in and Canterbury looks like he wants to throw Sattler over him but poor technique puts him on his back on the bottom.

Sattler in the full guard and working some rights to the body and the head before switching to both lefts and rights. Canterbury tries head control but isn't able to do it very well and Sattler uses a beautiful cartwheel pass into side control. Sattler with a knee to the body and a kimura attempt before taking full mount. Canterbury gives up his back and Sattler works a forearm under Canterbury's neck and gets the rear naked choke.

We get the replays of Sattler falling out of the cage and then the closing barrage of punches and the choke being sunk in. I have to give it to Cecil Peoples there cause he was actually right on top of that one, seperating them immediately after the tap. I'm guessing also that the win will take some of the sting off of falling out of the cage for Sattler and will probably give him pause before he thinks about filing a lawsuit

Winner: Ben Sattler, submission (rear naked choke) at 2:16 of Round One

Match Two: Middleweights
Jeff Morris (2-1) vs. Steven Rivenbark (0-1)

Round One

Glove touch and Morris hits a kick to the body and a glancing over hand right that clips Rivenbark right on the chin and puts him down to the mat. Morris into side control trying to land some shots on Rivenbark who is scrambling, not unlike a fish on the bottom of a boat flipping around for water. Morris goes back down and lands another couple of punches before standing back up and Rivenbark tries to kick at the legs but no go. Rivenbark gets mounted for a moment but does well to get out from under it and his scrambling, shifty style from his back is keeping him out of trouble. It looks odd but it's keeping him safe so I guess substance over style for him in this case. As I say that, Morris mounts him again, trying for a kimura into a keylock but has just terrible technique on it and ends up letting it go in favor of strikes from the top. Some straight elbows and some hard punches and finally some forearm/elbow shots from Morris on top and Rivenbark has had enough, tapping or telling referee Steve Mazzagatti he's done or something because Steve steps in and calls it.

Replays of the closing sequence and Morris was dropping the elbows by standing almost completely straight up from the mount and dropping back down with his entire weight behind them, which is good against someone with little experience like Rivenbark, but against someone more skilled it's just ASKING for trouble and would probably be exploited to Morris' detriment.

Winner: Jeff Morris, TKO at 1:20 of Round One

Match Three: Welterweights
Justin Sampson (0-0) vs. Brad Sandoval (0-0)

Sampson with a blue belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and a fourth degree black belt in TKD and a "black belt" in Thai kickboxing according to the announcers. That's just silly, and at this point I'm begging for the dulcet tones of Mike Goldberg imploring me to see Saw VII while missing thirty seconds worth of the action at the beginning of the round. Sandoval I guess doesn't have a ton going for him since they don't really talk too much about his accomplishments, instead focusing on one of the announcers having a "Thai wife that submits him nightly". Walk away from it if you want to, but I don't have the time or the energy to make that up.

Round One

Another glove touch and it seems like sportsmanship is in the air tonight. Sandoval with a hard body kick that lands and Sampson hits a leg kick and a kick to the body to respond. Some short punches and a knee to the body score for Sampson and Sandoval backpedals to get some distance. A standing side kick straight to the body sends Sandoval onto his ass against the cage and gets the crowd on its feet. Sandoval pops back up and Sampson moves into a clinch. Sandoval pulls guard but that doesn't seem like a smart idea as Sampson pops up and takes Sandoval's back in a scramble turning it into a back suplex. They clinch against the fence and Sandoval lands a knee and a couple of uppercuts from the clinch. They trade some patty-cake shots back and forth against the cage but nothing lands too seriously and they seperate. Sandoval fires off a jab and a right hook but Sampson scores right back with a good leg kick.

A WICKED high kick right to the chin of Sandoval from Sampson and another hard body kick and Sandoval is just standing there taking it. Sandoval with the jab again and they trade leg kicks before Sampson flashes up with another high kick and shoots in after it, scoring the takedown. Sampson into Sandoval's half guard and starts to use some hard punches to the body and a hard combination of shots before scrambling back to his feet. They circle and Sampson hits a HARD kick to the body as Sandoval tries to shoot in but Sampson sprawls and stuffs it, pushing off into a straight right hand and A HUGE HIGH KICK that knocks Sandoval out cold. Think Rashad Evans on Sean Salmon if you want a visual on that one. Wow, what a kick that was. Sandoval is asleep on his face against the side of the cage and they flip him over and he is just...KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT! They bring in the back board and start keeping his neck and everything secure, giving him oxygen as the doctors are working on him.

We get some replays of the side kick that landed earlier in the round, some more of the Sampson offense, including the punches and kicks that he was scoring with in the middle of the round, and then the straight right hand and vicious left high kick to the button that ended it.

Winner: Justin Sampson, KO at 3:01 of Round One.

We get some shots of the crowd as they're loading Sandoval up on the board and there's a teenage guy and girl in the front row and the girl keeps trying to hide her face when the camera comes by. Sister, if I was with that sack of bones you're sitting with, I'd be trying to hide my face too. I hope you get better at picking your men when you get older or you're in for a lifetime of disappointment. From that uncomfortable display we get zipped to ring girl Hooty McBoob, and her friend Tits Gazongas waving in their teeny bikinis. I approve.

Match Four: Bantamweights
Danny Ailes (2-0) vs. AJ Fonseca (2-1)

Ailes is also from the same Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu camp that Sampson is from. They mention that he was hit by a drunk driver in a car accident and that this is his first fight since the accident so it could possibly play a factor. I'm not sure how unless Fonseca is drunk...or driving a car in the cage...but I suppose. Fonseca comes to the ring with some questionable women and has former UFC star David Terrell in his corner for the fight.

Round One

Fonseca takes the center and throws a leg kick to start out with and as Ailes throws a right hand, Fonseca ducks under it and gets a lightning fast takedown. Into Ailes' full guard and he throws some elbows from the bottom and uses his tightly closed guard to keep himself away from any of Fonseca's power shots. Fonseca with some more ticky-tack shots and Ailes keeps shooting up the elbows but not a lot of action otherwise at this point. A HARD right hand lands for Fonseca as he finally postures up and throws a clean punch and that snaps Ailes back to life as he pops back up to his feet. A leg kick lands from Fonseca again and this time Ailes actually lands the straight right hand before getting taken down. Ailes scrambles to his feet but Fonseca gets a guillotine and pulls guard, but Ailes has an arm in so he's not in a lot of danger..yet.

Fonseca is really cranking on this one though and looks to be using up a lot of gas trying to finish. Ailes starts working elbows to the thigh of Fonseca and hitting the ribs from underneath trying to wait out Fonseca's stamina. The crowd starts turning on them a little as nothing is happening and Fonseca cranks HARDER on the guillotine and Ailes finally takes advantage and pops his head out, landing some elbows from the top and a short slam. Fonseca throws up a triangle but there's nothing there and we're back to closed guard with Ailes landing some shots. Fonseca tries for an armbar now too and the action slows considerably. Ailes scores with a couple of good hard elbows and some high/low combinations to the body and head. Cecil Peoples stands them up and Fonseca throws a combination and they trade to end the round.

The majority of the action was with Fonseca pushing the pace and working from the top so it's an easy round to score for Fonseca and he should look to continue exploiting his advantage in strength to keep top position in round two.

Round Two

Ailes gets a leg kick in to start the round and Fonseca clinches and they trade some knees to the body before Ailes gets a nice short combination off. Ailes tries for a leg trip and misses and they seperate with Ailes hitting a hard right hand before Fonseca throws a combination. They trade some strikes before Fonseca works into a clinch with double underhooks, working for a leg trip but missing before kneeing the thigh of Ailes and landing some footstomps. Ailes goes for a guillotine and Fonseca picks him up and slams him down to the mat, taking side control immediately. Ailes lets got of the head and Fonseca gets a hard knee to the body in before Ailes throws some soft knees to body of his own, turning Fonseca back into guard. Fonseca scores some good lefts and rights from a standing position to the prone Ailes and gets a HARD right hand before Ailes kicks him away and scrambles back to his feet. Fonseca rushes him and gets a double-leg into a takedown against the fence. Ailes sitting against the fence and Fonseca looks like he's trying to pull him all the way down but before he can Cecil Peoples stands them back up.

Ailes with a nice combination but he eats a left hook from Fonseca that hurt him pretty good. They trade some leg kicks and circle with Fonseca landing a straight left to the body. They seem to be slowing a little as the fight gets deeper. Another trade of combinations and Fonseca punctuates it with another hard leg kick. Fonseca catches a body kick thrown by Ailes and scores another takedown, into Ailes' full guard. Fonseca uses the neck crank to open up the guard and they trade some shots to the face. Good left from Fonseca lands and Ailes is still landing some elbows as Fonseca loads up on a right hand. Ailes almost gets an armbar but doesn't manage to sink it in but he does manage to scramble back to his feet again and blocks a high kick as the round ends.

Another solid round for Fonseca and that puts him up two-none in my book as he worked again from the top, scoring multiple takedowns and getting the better of the majority of the stand-up exhanges. Ailes needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat to get this one out of the fire.

Round Three

Leg kick from Ailes and a body kick into a combination as Fonseca shoots in again for a double-leg and picks him up into a slam. Ailes using full guard again and Fonseca using the neck crank to open it up, landing some shots from the top as Ailes scores some up kicks from the bottom. Fonseca unleashing some good ground and pound, pressing Ailes up against the fence and using top position to score with some punishment. Hammerfist lands from Fonseca and Ailes tries to sweep but can't get Fonseca away to get to his feet. They start to stalemate a little on the ground with Fonseca doing enough to keep busy and avoid the stand-up until Cecil Peoples has finally seen enough. They restart standing and a leg kick from Fonseca and a good leg kick/overhand right combo a la Randy Couture by Ailes lands as well.

Fonseca drops his hands and lands another leg kick to the thigh of Ailes and Ailes hits that overhand right again and this one hurt Fonseca pretty good. Ailes just misses timing a knee on Fonseca's shot, but Fonseca avoids it and gets the takedown again into full guard. Fonseca employing a little lay and pray as Cecil Peoples starts telling Fonseca to start working or he's going to stand them up and he does indeed stand them up. High kick from Fonseca just misses and he gets a single-leg again into a takedown. Fonseca standing over Ailes and throws Ailes' legs to the side, passing the guard into side control, before Ailes re-takes half guard. Ailes tries to sweep but can't get it, but he does scramble back to his feet. They trade knees from the clinch in tight and Fonseca hits a couple knees with the Thai clinch and a leg kick as the fight comes to a close.

A clean sweep for Fonseca it looks like, as he had all the answers both on the feet and on the mat, and Ailes looked consistently like he was a step behind.

Winner: AJ Fonseca, Unanimous Decision

Match Five: Lightweights
Khomkrit Niimi (3-0) vs. Gigo Jara (2-5)

While they introduce Niimi, I have to wonder if they're drunk at the commentary table as they start making vaguely racist statements about Korean Americans and Twinkies and one announcer ends up thinking you can buy Koreans in a store. Well, that's not uncomfortable to listen to at all really.

Round One

Herb Dean, the third man in the cage for this one gets us underway and they touch gloves. Niimi with a leg kick and Jara hits a one-two before Niimui scores the takedown with a double-leg. Jara stands right back up but Niimi keeps on it and gets the takedown again against the fence. Niimi takes his back standing and has an arm around Jara's neck in a modified rear naked choke but there's nothing there. Jara works out of it and stands above Niimi, but Niimi throws his guard up and tries for a triangle, locking it up but not really putting any pressure down into it. Niimi tries to use that triangle to switch into an armbar and then into an omaplata but none of them can lock in. Niimi back into the triangle attempt but he can't lock his foot behind his knee and Niimi is starting to eat some hard punches from Jara now as he's using top position to his advantage. Jara misses a big right hand and Niimi tries a sweep, throwing Jara off of him a little bit and scrambling up to his feet.

A good Thai knee lands from Jara and now Niimi has a single-leg and is just pushing Jara up against the fence waiting for the takedown. Niimi gives up on the single-leg and they just clinch with Jara landing a couple more hard Thai knees before throwing Niimi down to the mat. Niimi springs right back up into another Thai clinch and Jara works a couple knees to the body and one to the head. They clinch against the cage with over/underhooks and Jara lands a good left hand and another couple of knees up the middle. Niimi works the clinch against the fence again but isn't able to do much of anything as Jara keeps working that Thai clinch with a TON of knees and Niimi is down on his hands and knees turtling, with Jara throwing a bunch of shots until Herb Dean steps in and stops the fight.

Wow, that was pretty well dominating from Jara which makes you wonder about his record coming into this fight and whether he was facing tougher competition that Niimi was. Jara looked great and used the Thai clinch like Anderson Silva did on Rich Franklin, punishing Niimi with knees until he could stop it.

Winner: Gigo Jara, TKO at 4:55 of Round One

Match Six: Light Heavyweights
Rolando Torres (2-1) vs. Jeremy Freitag (3-4)

We get a video package for Freitag and he's fighting out of Sacramento. He played college football at Louisville but ended up getting injured on the way to the draft and after not catching on he started to get into MMA. He trained in his first training session with Randy Couture and Tito Ortiz and says that he's not a streetfighter but has always been drawn to the aggressive sports. He thinks that this is the best sport going today and that football used to be what he loved but there are too many pads for his liking. In a very unsurprising turn he seems to think he's going to be victorious in this particular fight. No kidding...I'm serious.

Round One

Torres misses a big uppercut to start and Freitag catches him with a right hand as they trade before working into a clinch with Freitag getting double underhooks. Torres with a knee to the body and Freitag changes levels into a double-leg and gets the takedown on Torres into side control in top position. There's some blood and it looks like Freitag is cut or bleeding from the nose while he's on the top. Torres has the head of Freitag but isn't doing anything and Freitag is just kind of laying on top of him before finally exploding up into full mount. Torres actually bridges out of it and manages to sweep Freitag over as Freitag starts working on the head control from the bottom, keeping Torres from doing any damage. Freitag spins into an armbar and looks like he actually has it but Torres is keeping his hands locked together trying to defend it. Freitag finally yanks and pulls into the armbar tightly and Torres has to tap out from the pain.

Great submission win from Freitag and he looked like a solid all-around fighter in this one, using his wrestling to get the fight down to the mat, but not becoming phased when he ended up on his back like most wrestlers do. He kept calm and took the submission when it presented itself. A solid victory for Freitag in this one.

Winner: Jeremy Freitag, submission (armbar) at 2:47 of Round One

Match Seven: Middleweights
Akira Shoji (20-10) vs. Kyacey Uscola (21-8)

Round One

Glove touch to start out and Shoji throws a combination right off the bat landing a straight right hand before backing out and giving up the center of the cage to Uscola. They circle and Uscola hits a hard leg kick that Shoji fires back with one of his own. Shoji throws another combination and clinches Uscola up against the fence with double underhooks. Shoji gets the leg trip takedown but Uscola reverses it almost immediately, sweeping over into Shoji's half guard. Uscola starts working some rights to the body and a few hard left elbows to the face of Shoji. A left hand gets through Shoji's guard and Shoji has had enough of that and stands back up, clinching Uscola against the fence until Steve Mazzagatti breaks them for a restart. Erik Apple on commentary updates us on Brad Sandoval's condition, saying that he's already been discharged from the hospital, so that's good news considering how hard he went down after that high kick.

Back to the matter at hand though now as Uscola catches Shoji with a straight left and a front kick to Shoji's midsection. Shoji with a good left hook that Uscola mostly blocks with his arm and they continue to circle, being wary of each other's power. Uscola sticks the jab and they trade leg kicks before continuing to circle. The crowd starts to turn on them just a little as they keep jabbing and circling but Uscola picks up the pace with a left hook and a couple more leg kicks before Shoji loads up and somewhat connects with a big right hand. Uscola throws a high kick that Shoji blocks and Uscola keeps firing the jab in on Shoji's face. Shoji catches Uscola with a bit of low one as his low kick grazes some testicle and they glove touch an apology and get back to fighting. Shoji keeps eating jabs and backpedalling as the bell sounds and the crowd gets on them a little more as Uscola gives a little "What can I do?" gesture in the middle of the cage.

Some replays of the early going of the fight with Shoji rushing in and getting the takedown but Uscola reversing it immediately. An easy round to score and an easy round for Uscola as he controlled the pace and did the majority of the damage with his jab and a few hard punches. Between rounds Shoji's corner tries to fire him up, slapping him around a little bit, though I wonder how well that will work considering he just took a bit of a beating in the first round and that didn't seem to fire him up but who knows.

Round Two

Shoji comes forward with a crazy quick combination and they go into the clinch with Shoji taking double underhooks against the fence. Steve Mazzagatti with a quick break-up and restart in the center and Uscola scores with a good left hook and a hard leg kick that Shoji responds back to with a great one of his own. ANOTHER chopping leg kick from Uscola and he's sticking that jab in at will. Uscola with a four punch combo right to the face and he's picking Shoji apart standing up. A nice left hand/uppercut combo from Shoji and Uscola catches him with a high kick too. Shoji backing up and trying to avoid for a little bit, rushing in with the clinch but there's nothing on it and Uscola shoves him off and hits a VICIOUS left hook/right hook combination that floors Shoji and a couple of hammerfists from the guard later it's all over and Shoji is knocked stiff as a board. Uscola is EXCITED at the win, climbing the cage and he's overcome with emotion, almost in tears at such a huge win.

Winner: Kyacey Uscola, TKO at 2:23 of Round Two

We get another couple of slo-mo replays of the action including that sweet-ass combination that ended things for Uscola from a couple of different angles. A great win for Uscola over a big-name international opponent and you could tell the victory meant a lot to him as soon as the fight was over. A big step-up in competiton and Uscola met the challenge admirably in getting the win.

Main Event
Match Eight: For The King Of The Cage Bantamweight Championship
Bibbiano Fernandes (1-0) vs. Urijah Faber (15-1)

It's main event time and that means a video package for Bibbiano Fernandes and he says he trains jiu-jitsu, cardio, judo, and that he always has the same mentality for the fight but to him the only difference between Jiu-Jitsu and MMA is the punches and kicks. He plans to go for the submission in this one and he knows that he's the underdog. He likes the style that Urijah fights with and feels like it mirrors his own aggressive, explosive style. He hopes that Urijah comes at 100% and he wants to put on a great show for the fans. Tyson Johnson introduces Fernandes as a five-time Brazilian world champion but he kinda forgets the jiu-jitsu part leaving me to wonder if maybe Fernandes is good at tiddlywinks or scrabble or something like that. Bibbiano Fernandes, Brazilian World Scrabble Champion has a nice ring to it.

Now we get the video for Urijah Faber, the current KOTC Bantamweight Champion. He says he's loved contact sports since he was a kid, playing hockey, football, boxing, etc. He feels like he was born to be a fighter and it's something he's naturally good at and that his name will go hand in hand with fighting. He hasn't been able to see any of Fernandes' fights but he has seen some jiu-jitsu footage and he assumes that Fernandes will be going for submissions. Faber says that this isn't the fight of his life because the fight of his life was in Bali, Indonesia against 12 guys and he won. Faber hopes that Fernandes has been working on becoming well-rounded because being a one dimensional fighter won't cut it against the "California Kid". Faber makes his entrance wtih three belts behind him including the KOTC title, and what look to be the Gladiator Challenge and WEC belts as well.

Round One

My fingers are in for workout on this one as Faber NEVER fights a slow fight. This should be about two pages worth of stuff per round based on his usual pace.

Herb Dean gets us underway and Faber throws a snapping leg kick and misses one that Fernandes uses to shoot in for the takedown but Faber grabs a guillotine with an arm in to defend it. Fernandes switches to a single-leg and throws Faber down to his hands and knees and pounces on him, taking his back and getting a hook in. Some hand-fighting going on as Ferenandes tries to lock in the rear naked choke but Faber is defending well. Fernandes with both hooks in and he starts throwing some left hands to the head of Faber but they essentially seem stalemated at this point. Faber tries to stand up but ends up getting one of his own legs pinned under him, but he defends well against the choke and switches into Fenandes' full guard, throwing WICKED elbows with bad intentions on them.

Faber postures up to try to land some more elbows but Fernandes is working some good body and head control from the bottom. Faber throwing more elbows landing some hard ones against the forehead and face of Fernandes with both the left and right elbows. Herb Dean stops them for a clean break as Faber has opened up an absolute gulley on Fernandes' forehead. The fans are cheering like it's over but it looks, for now, like it's just the doctor checking the cut. Fernandes says he wants to keep going and Herb Dean says that they're going to restart in the same position. Herb does a good job of getting them reset and they're back to fighting with Faber throwing more and more elbows and the cut is just getting worse and worse. Fernandes looks like an absolute mess at this point and Faber is posturing up now, throwing lefts and rights that are scoring to the face of Fernandes and that's it Herb Dean stops it right there because of the amount of blood that Fernandes was losing.

Winner: Urijah Faber, TKO (cut) at 4:16 of Round One

Post-fight in the interview, Faber talks about how he trains BJJ all the time and that he didn't feel like he was in any real danger when Fernandes had his back despite it looking like a horrible position for him. He respects Fernandes' BJJ skills but this is fighting and that it's not good to be in the guard. He thought they were going to let the fight go because the cut was on his forehead but it was starting to bleed into his eyes so they had to stop it. Faber starts plugging his training facility and thanks Bibbiano, his coaches and everyone else. He says that he'll be abck to fight again for KOTC to put more cash in his pocket. However that's not entirely true because this would be his last fight with KOTC before he began his exclusive contract with the WEC just three months later.

We get thrown to Erik Apple in the cage to sum up the night's events and there's a highlight reel from the night's fights to take us out.

That does it for this week's short and sweet edition of The Sprawl and Brawl, and though it was somewhat shorter, it was still chock full of entertainmenty-goodness for you all to enjoy! I can't say for sure what I'll be looking at next week but I'm pretty sure it will end up involving punches and kicks and chokes so it should fit right in with the rest of the reviews. Now I'll say as always, in the meantime and in between time, I'll see you all right back here next time, for another Sprawl and Brawl Video Review! Peace out, homies!

The 411: A great event from King Of The Cage as it looks like they really stepped it up production-wise, and all of the fights were exciting. The one thing I REALLY think they need to look at is getting some actual announcers and not just fighters who also announce as I feel it costs them a little credibility but it was still a very good showing from King Of The Cage on this one and shows that the card doesn't need to be full of big names for an event to be entertaining.

Final Score:  8.0   [ Very Good ]  legend
