After having failed to win the WBC junior bantamweight title, Jorge Arce is readying for a return on June 20 with a new corner which will include Nacho Beristain.
El 'Travieso' has been training with Nacho for less than two weeks now in hopes of winning a fifth world title. The Romanza Gym in Iztacalco, Mexico has turned into a training camp and Arce hopes to change things after the loss to Vic Darchinyan.
"Definitely I'm looking for what's best in my career and a lot of people had told me that I should hire Nacho and I acknowledge that he's a great trainer and after conversating for a while, I decided that I'd bring him on," said Arce.
"It's been tiring as I'm training very hard becuase I want to win another world title. It seems that my opponent for June 20 will be Dimitry Kirilov," added the native of Los Mochis.
Jorge jogs in the mornings in the woods of Tlalpan, and works out during the day at the Romanza Gym under the supervision of Beristain, who also trains Juan Manuel and Rafael Marquez.
"In my last fight, I prepared well but I came out without a strategy and that cost me a loss; I think that with someone like Nacho in my corner, things will turnout better," added Arce.
