Robert Guerrero Looks to Inspire Bay Area Youth

The new IBF champ will appear at a youth conference this Friday.

Newly crowned IBF junior lightweight champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero will be making a very special appearance at the Hispanic Development Corporation (HDC) "Portraits of Success" 2009 Youth Conference this Friday, September 18th in San Jose, California.

The Bay Area native, known for his generosity and down-to-earth demeanor, will be sharing stories with the children concerning his rise to success, and how he overcame the trials and tribulations of a tough upbringing.

The conference will take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel at 1740 N First St in San Jose. It will run from 8:45am to 1:30pm, with Guerrero speaking at approximately 9:00am.
