Tonight beginning at 11 PM/ET do not miss ShoBox: The Next Generation which will be headlined by Tarvis Simms (25-0, 11 KO's) taking on Allan Green (28-1, 20 KO's) in a super middleweight bout from the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Simms, who took this fight on one weeks notice weighed in slightly over the super middleweight limit yesterday at the final weigh-in and had to spend the afternoon jumping rope before finally making weight at 168.8 pounds last night.
Simms, the southpaw from Norwalk, Conn. will put his undefeated record on the line against Allan Green the 38 year old veteran who has fought three southpaws in his career. Also on the televised show will be "The Truth" Antwone Smith (16-1-1, 8 KO's) taking on Henry Crawford (22-0-1, 9 KO's) in a bout between two bright welterweight prospects. The opening bout of the broadcast will see Marcus "Too Much" Johnson (17-0, 14 KO's) battling Victor Villereal (8-3-2 1 NSF, 4 KO) in a super middleweight bout.
Curt Menefree, Steve Farhood and Antonio Tarver will call the action live on Showtime (on tape delay on the west coast).
