Hernan Marquez Returns to Action on Saturday

He'll fight again in November and then hopes for a title shot in 2010.

Rising prospect Hernan Marquez (25-0, 18 KOs) will be in action on October 24 in a card being headlined by Tomas Rojas (31-11-1, 22 KOs) vs. Evans Mbamba (16-0, 8 KOs)

The card is taking place at the World Trade Center in Veracruz, Mexico and will be televised by TV Azteca.

Marquez is currently ranked by the WBA, WBC and WBO and will face Javier Romano in a flyweight scrap.

Having recently just turned 31, he's already scheduled to fight on November 28 against Jean Piero Perez who's ranked #3 by the WBA.

"I'm very confident that I'll come out victorious on Saturday as I've prepared very well and I'm focused only on this fight. Then I'll think about November," said Marquez.

"Tyson", as he's dubbed added that his team has already started making plans to get him a title shot by the midway point of next year.
