The WBC Wants Mosley To Apologize...

...If he's to get a title unification bout against Andre Berto.

Talk about another weird and nonsensical occurrence courtesy of the WBC as it was revealed during their 47th annual convention that they have approved a voluntary title defense by titlist Andre Berto against Shane Mosley for January 30th, so long as Mosley apologizes.

After announcing that they have suspended Chris Arreola for cursing, they now want Mosley to publicly apologize to them for relinquishing that same belt Berto wears, in order to take on Antonio Margarito earlier this year.

Well there you have it, Berto vs. Mosley on Jan. 30th has been approved but Mosley has to say sorry.
