Helping those in need during this holiday season.
The Mayweather Foundation, in conjunction with the United States Marine Corp is sponsoring a program to provide Christmas presents for kids in the greater Las Vegas area. From now until December 11th, 15 bins will be available around the city to provide "Toys for Tots".
Also, a Thanksgiving dinner will be provided on November 21st for 250 people outdoors on Owens Ave & N. Main St. The location is across from the Salvation Army. Each individually wrapped hot meal will include turkey, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, string beans, pumpkin pie, water and tea.
The giving doesn't stop there. 318 students, from pre-school till 5th grade, will be given a coat by Mayweather at local inner-city schools. Says Mayweather, "Through the donation of toys, coats and food, I know we will be making the holidays a little brighter for those in need and that is the best gift of all."
