Arce Set to Get One More Shot at the IBF Title

Can Travieso reassert himself into the super flyweight picture?

Jorge Arce will get one more shot to redeem a career that has fallen on hard times in 2009. The multi division champion is apparently in line for a December, 19th rematch against Simphiwe Nongqayi for the IBF super flyweight title according to BoxingScene.

Arce was easily outpointed by Nongqayi, this past September in a fight which was often sloppy and lacking in action. Arce will certainly need to bring the fight to Nongqayi who is a skilled technician that was easily able to fend off many of Arce's previous advances. The fight has an added interest as Nongqayi had previously defeated Jorge's younger brother, Francisco.
