Hatton and N'dou Fight to a Draw

They might have to do it again.

With his older brother Ricky sitting at ringside, Matthew Hatton, 28, fought the veteran, Lovemore N'dou, 38, to a draw. The welterweight contest took place last Friday in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Despite the home advantage, Hatton, 37-4-2, 14 KOs couldn't secure the victory. The scores were as follows: 115-114 Hatton, 115-114 N'dou, 114-114. N'dou is a former champion at 140, and has a record of 2-3-1 in his last six fights and 47-11-2, 31 KOs overall. Although Hatton was the busier fighter, he had to fight through a cut over his eye, and received the heaviest blows of the contest. There is already talk of a rematch to take place sometime in 2010.
