The champion takes a break from training camp to share the Christmas spirit

WBC Welterweight Champion, Andre Berto recently took a break from his training camp to help spread some Christmas Cheer. Berto spent Friday morning in Orlando to assist in a city - wide toy drive. Berto and several of his family members went on a toy shopping spree to ensure several needy families in Central Florida will enjoy a Merry Christmas during these difficult times. The drive was a massive success with a large amount of gifts being collected.

"It's amazing to see all of these toys that people have donated," Berto said. "A lot of kids are going to have a Merry Christmas because of this, and I'm just happy that I could come and be a part of something like this." claimed Berto.


In addition to the toy drive, Berto's Carma Foundation held a Christmas Ball which raised over $50,000 to sponsor the organization's scholarship fund, as well as different causes within Haiti.
