The former junior welterweight titlist now in the hunt.
According to Fightnews, Top Rank has now made an offer to Paulie Malignaggi to fight Manny Pacquiao, given the current status of the fight with Mayweather.
Malignaggi, who recently outpointed Juan Diaz in their rematch earlier this month, confirmed the news on the "Through the Ropes" radio show, hosted by Marc Lichtenfeld.

this must be a ploy to get Mayweather to drop those demands or...
Pacman is hoping this ridiculous, absurd, joke of a match-up will steal headlines away from him ducking the needle!
What do the Pacman groupies... I mean fans think?

Floyd's undefeated record don't mean shit. He can't beat Pacquaio that's why he needed to add the Olympic style drug testing on the contract which is a way out for him to get out of the March 13, 2010 scheduled fight. Pacquiao doesn't want to give blood 2 days before the fight and there's nothing wrong with that and he is not breaking any rules. How can he hide something when he is willing to give blood right after the fight?? All you Mayweather fans answer this question...why in the blue hell Mayweather still don't wanna fight the best fighters in boxing right now?? He still hasn't fought Mosley, Cotto, Williams & Pacquiao.

Pacquiao wants to submit to any drugtest but he didn't want USADA to do it, because they compromise with PBF and Golden Boy. According to the news, Pacquiao was concerned that his training will be sabotage if the drugtest body was recommended by Floyd Mayweather and his Promoter. This drug test is easy for Pacquiao if and only if the Blood Testing Body wasn't recommended by Mayweather nor Golden Boy. I recommend that the NEVADA must be the one who will choose the body who will conduct the blood test. This won't allow either Pacquiao or Mayweather's camp to sabotage the result. The truth will be prevailed in the end.
The lead author of the study, Dr. Hau Liu of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California stated, that it does not help athletic performance in any way. Dr. Liu even went as far as to state that it may worsen athletic performance a bit. The study found that HGH does add muscle, but they found that it does not appear to improve strength. They did find that HGH actually caused side effects such as swelling and fatigue. Spread the word. It takes skills, speed, and defense.
New York-based athletic physician, Dr. Keith Pyne, a private injury
consultant for NFL athletes and those who participate in running and
combat sports, told AOL Fanhouse,
“I have more than 800 guys who are special athletes who are all
drug-tested. And the urine testing is sufficient that you won’t
miss anything, especially with performance-enhancing drugs. So, yes,
I believe that the urine testing is more than sufficient for boxing.
If you’re using steroids, it’s going to come up for sure in
urine. There’s no way it’s going to get through the liver and the
kidney without being detected.” If a lot boxers were caught taking up drugs using only urine test for the past decades of boxing, why, a guy named Floyd Mayweather demands test other than what is used before? Is Floyd up to something? Is he planning behind our knowledge, like to sabotage Pacquiao's training. I agree with blood test and I think Pacquiao too, but let the Nevada state find a blood testing body to conduct the blood test and not came from either Pacquiao or Mayweather's camp. The funny thing is, due to alot of demands each day, Is Floyd the one who doesn’t want the fight to pursue? And who is Floyd Mayweather to create the rules?

I am a huge boxing fan but I would not want to see a Paulie vs Pac fight. I honestly think that Floyd is trying to get out of this fight with Pacman. Since boxing has been around no championship fight has used olympic testing for a fight. Floyd thinks he is bigger then boxing itself. What is the last time he fought a legitimite 147 to 154 pound guy besides Oscar. The way I see it if the test is done before or after the fight something will show up. If Pac is on steroids it will show up you cant rinse it out of your system in a day or two. Floyd get in the ring and fight stop the running around the ring and get in the ring

Floyd is a coward at least Paulie has the cahones

Floyd has been called out rudely by Mosely and if I had his supposed skills I would have signed and punished Moseley but he didn't.then he wanted Manny to call him out which he did but threw in the steroid allegations and Manny said I will take them but I don't want it interferring with my training to whoop you but Floyd refuses. So PBF is the one who killed the deal and Maliggnagi has been chosen cuz Manny wants to punish him for helping PBF spread the rumors.when the dust settles Manny would have punished Paulie and have millions in his pocket from the lawsuit and go on to battle Bradley and Mosely and so forth.PBF can remain the undefeated coward I bet he handpicks a couple more fights and retires again

Its stupid for people think that Pacman is on drugs. He is not been caught and never will. What so you take PBF word over without any proof? Why won't Mayweather take Pacman's offer of penalty if caught? Its just shows that Floyd just instigate a smear campaign to Manny. Is it hard for Floyd to conceive hard work as a reason for success rather than stupid talent which is I see is not up to par to the best of the world. You can take your 0 loss to the grave Floyd, and nobody will care.
