Mosley Has Signed, But Mayweather Hasn't
Posted by A. Shakoor on 02.02.2010

Golden Boy's Richard Schaefer has some concerns about whether the proposed May 1rst megafight between Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will actually happen:

"We want to do some big PR, so this is frustrating. I read Leonard's quotes that it was agreed to and that it was just a matter of time to get it signed, but if it's all done, why isn't it signed?" Asked whether the fight is in trouble, Schaefer says, "Yes".

Shane Mosley has signed the contract and is ready to go, but despite assurances from Mayweather adviser, Leonard Ellerbe that, "All of the deal points have been agreed to. We still have to put pen to paper, but everything is agreed to," Floyd Mayweather has neglected to sign his end of the deal to finalize everything for May 1rst.

Golden Boy hopes to have the contracts ready as soon as possible so that Super Bowl week can be used as a vehicle to promote the fight. The longer the deal remains unfinalized the more fans and pundits will be unconvinced that this epic fight will ever take place. Again, Shane Mosley has signed on. Everyone is waiting on Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Now here is the Floyd we all know and love. Since Shane has already agreed to all of Floyd's drug testing demands, Floyd probably needs time to think up another way to get out of the fight.

Mayweather is a joke, he should go back to beating up on Wrestlers at Wrestlemania. The man is a pussy and is afraid of any real competition in order to keep his piece of shit record. He should fight Fedor Emelianenko in an MMA rules match, so fedor can ground him and proceede to break his right arm with an armbar, causing permenent injury, in order to retire that pussy piece of shit. I hope he suffers a brain hemorage in his next bout (whoever it may be) and dies. I have had enough of that slanderous piece of shit.
