Valero and DeMarco Make Weight

One day before their lightweight title clash in Monterrey, Mexico, WBC titlist Edwin Valero and Antonio DeMarco both arrived in shape and ready to go to their final weigh-in.

DeMarco (23-1-1, 17 KOs) and Valero (26-0, 26 KOs) both tipped the scales at the lightweight limit of 135 pounds.

In the 10-round co-feature, Luis Carlos Abregu (28-0, 23 KOs), of Salta, Argentina will meet Richard Gutierrez (24-3, 14 KO's), of Miami, Florida, via Arjona, Colombia, in a welterweight bout. Both Abregu and Gutierrez weighed in at the 147 pound welterweight limit.

Showtime will televise the card on Saturday night beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
