Rios Hoping to Start Fast Against Teron

The two meet tonight in Texas.

On tonight's Top Rank Live card in Texas, unbeaten Brandon Rios (23-0-1, 16 KOs) takes on Jorge Teron (23-1-1, 15 KOs) and Rios is hoping to get off to a fast start.

"We're in tough, taking on Jorge Luis Teron," said Robert Garcia, chief trainer for Rios. "The game is to jump right on Teron and get off to a quick start and not let up. Teron is a pretty big puncher. Our first goal is be aggressive and get control of the fight."

Their bout will headline the Top Rank card which is to be televised on Fox Sports Espanol.

"Brutally tough workouts. Rios and Gomez went at it," said Garcia. "The good thing is that Rios trained very hard and he is very sharp."
