Adamek Tops Estrada

Is Chris Arreola next?
Tonight at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ Tomasz "Goral" Adamek defended the IBF international heavyweight championship with a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Jason "Big Six" Estrada. The judge's scorecards were 115-113, 116-112, 118-110 all for Adamek with one of those three cards being a bit outrageous if you ask me. Personally I scored the fight 115-114 in favor of Adamek though both the 115-113, and 116-112 scores seemed fine by me. For those who missed the fight you missed a very good heavyweight bout as Estrada and Adamek fought tooth and nail early, with the middle portion of the fight being dominated by Adamek until he seemed to run out of steam around round 9 when Estrada made his run.
Other results on the card:
Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin returned for the first time since 2008 to score a 10 round unanimous decision over Fernando Zuniga. Also undefeated prospects Patrick Majewski, Denis Douglin, Patrick Farrell and Ismayl Sillakh all scored victories in their undercard bouts.
