Erik Morales Says He'll Re-Retire If He Loses On March 27

In his comeback bout on March 27, former multi-division champ Erik Morales is promising to hang up the gloves once more if he loses to Jose Alfaro when they meet at the Arena Monterrey in a 12-round welterweight bout.
According to Record, Morales stated in a press conference today that he respects his fans and he's looking to put forth his best effort but if he can't compete at a high level, he'll recognize that it's time to move on.
Morales however remains confident of a win and expects his experience to be a determining factor in the fight.
"El Terrible" has lost four straight bouts and five out of the last six dating back to 2004. His March 2005 win over Manny Pacquiao stands currently as the final great bout of his career.
