Mosley Comments on Pacquiao-Clottey

Congratulates Manny but says his fight will be more exciting.

With Pacquiao-Clottey now out of the way, fans are no doubt clamoring for the May 1 mega-fight between Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Having just dispatched Joshua Clottey on Saturday, Pacquiao is obviously looking towards the winner of this fight and Shane Mosley would clearly be happy to get that chance.
"I would like to congratulate Manny on his victory Saturday night even though I think it put most of the fans watching to sleep," said Mosley. "Now it's time for the world to focus on May 1 when I promise you nobody will be sleeping except for Floyd after I knock him out and send him back into retirement. Maybe if Floyd comes back a second time, he and Manny will fight one day, but it will only be for the opportunity to fight me again:, the man who beat both of them."
You can really see Shane trying to improve his trash talking skills. Unfortunately they are still terrible. I would prefer to have humble Shane back regardless..

i like shane. win or lose i would still root for him. but not when he's fighting pacman though. hopefully you be the first one to shut floyd's mouth. that way he cannot self proclaim that he is the greatest because he has a loss.
this confirms also that manny is the man...
manny will be willing to fight shane without stupid demands like testing or rematch clause. manny got balls, floyd's got eggs (he's a chicken).
if shane win against floyd, beat him up again the second time.

Congrats Mr. Mosley, you are a man of less talk but pure of action. I look forward that Floyd sleeps in the canvass for good. If this happens Floyd will now zipper his mouth permanently. Just prepare yourself for a big figth for King Manny.

Why does this guys , shane and Floyd trying to say that Pacquiao gave a boring fight and put fans to sleep? Why did they do anything to get Clottey in the ring . I guess its a big NO because they where afraid of clottey , manny puts everything on the line period and May I say so that Manny will beat both Mosley and DuckWeather

I like the Shane that fights Marga, i hope he will knockout Floyd, but I just can't see it. Floyd is so clever that may just so close yet so far to hit. Shane vs Manny is more exciting than Shane vs Floyd or Manny vs Floyd. imo

I won't watch PPV for Mosley and who's the other guy? fight. It will be a boring fight and waste of my money. I'll just watch the live stream if there is any. Fortunately for Shane and Floyd, they don't have to worry about Manny saying the same kind of trash about their fights. Manny is content to promote his own fights without putting anybody down.

I've watched shane vs oscar twice a classic example of boring fight. I've watched mayweather vs castillo twice a super classic example of super boring fight. floyd vs JMM much boring. So logically say if sugar is counter puncher fighting floyd a scared counter puncher. May 1 fight my forecast will be a wrestling matched.

Mosley you are a hypocrite. If you're the one facing Clottey can make that kind of one sided beating but you will only manage a split decision because you will be hugging him to much from the very start and people will be asleep as early as round 3. You are about to lose to Mayorga until Mayorga got careless and you caught him with your lucky punch. If Mayorga gave you fits then Pacman will overwhelm you. Be careful what you wish for.

Let's be honest here, ODLH has a lot more exciting fights that's worth watching a few times over than Mosley and PBF combined. Yet against PBF, the SuperFight became the SuperSnooze! What makes you think that Mosley could make an exciting fight against PBF? That fight in itself will surely be more boring than the Pacquiao-Clottey fight. But the HOPE that Mosley wins will be the driving force to watch that bout.

mosley, let your hands do the talking first. prove that you are worthy of fighting Manny. beat floyd first then maybe just maybe you can face Manny in the ring and prove your worth as a boxer. floyd only has his mouth. if you have seen his fights, if he face Manny now he knows he'll get a beating that will shame him toward oblivion. he will be just another fighter that Manny destoyed.

Damn yall really hate Mayweather that much, do I think shane can win yeah cause he is unpredictable with his punches so if he gives chase to Floyd he can hit him with a cross or a hook, however, floyd probably has the quickest hands in Boxing so there is no telling who will win and to the Filipino's who will boycott thats cool you all aren't the biggest minority in America and I doubt golden boy will miss your ppv money that much. This fight will do a million just becasue of the people in it. And finally clottey a defensive fighter who didn't know any offense combination just look at Ike Quartey he a counter puncher not known for his offense however, Manny just like Shane and Mayweather know the science of boxing and where to hit someone. If manny is as good as you guys build him up to be he should fight winky wright and Tito Trindad at the lightweight but that is never going to happen.I like manny but i don't like his fanatic fans who think he is a God sort of like Rocky Mariciano fans who claim he the greates ever. And he did beat everyone he faced.

your an idiot who does not know what hes talking about, I boxed for years and went on a cycle of roids shot up once, Im a welterweight by boxing standards about 140 give or take a couple pounds if im working out, When I was on the cycle I could take hard shots from guys way out of my w class I got a real good chin but considering Im more than a hundred pounds away from abongo humphrey and i could get hit by him, yeah steroids help your chin too buddy

Mayweather vs Clottey would be the most boring match ever.. defense vs defense.. counterpuncher vs counterpuncher.. "0"zero defeat vs "0"zero knockdown.. chicken vs turtle.. LOL:) Mayweather and Clottey could throw ten punches per round each and neither would even break a sweat. Pussy Floyd will keep on running while Clottey will keep on hiding in his turtle shell defense.. Gayweather would probably break his brittle little fists on Clottey's bowling ball of a head :)

fear is a powerful tool, its also a very very hard enemy to face.
floyd lives in fear specially inside the ring. his fears keep him from being defensive and counterpunching. but if his defense falls apart will we see him deteriorate like dela hoya fight against manny?
rolling shoulder maybe very good but to who's opponent, cotto, clottey, mosley, williams, margarito or manny? its never been tested on tough opponents, so i myself wants to see floyd fight not only against manny but most of boxers waiting inline. if you think he claims he has the best defense and counter punching, then lets test him. i dont want to base his skills on previous fights knowing most of them are cherry picked for good show of skills.
if floyd only manage a split decision with dela hoya, how much more manny destroying dela hoya to submission.
if floyd took 10 rounds to knock hatton down, manny knock hatton twice in 1st round then put him to sleep in round 2.
and if manny faced and destroyed cotto, floyd yet still needs to face cotto and the rest of the welterweights he needs to fight in order to be called the best. lets see if his skills will do good against all of them.

This is the most comments I've ever seen on a boxing post! This just goes to show that if somehow we could get all the BS out of boxing it could be a dominant and popular sport again. If the winner of Mosley/Mayweather does actually face Pacman, it could be the fight that saves boxing!
