Allan Green Sounds Off About Ward's Injury

He ain't buying it.
As previously reported, Andre Ward won't be able to defend his title on April 24th in the next round of the Super Six World Boxing Classic. A new date and location has yet to be determined. However, opponent Allan Green, who is only in this tournament because Jermain Taylor elected to drop out, has some tough words about Ward and his injury:
"… if he were fighting Jermain Taylor or Sakio Bika, I'm sure he'd be good to go right now. I'm a fighter. I fight through bumps, bruises and injuries and we go through that. I fought Tarvis Simms with a bad right shoulder. If you're knee keeps getting hurt it could be something chronic and you're probably not going to be ready in six weeks. If your knee is swollen, just take a cortisone shot, stop bitching and get your ass in the ring."
Andre Ward and his promoter Dan Goossen dismissed Green's claims, and are offering assurances that the injury is legit, and that the fight will eventually happen.
Allan Green is a WAY over-rated fighter that got outboxed by a brawler...Edison Miranda!! He must say his prayers at night to even get into the super six. Andre Ward should fight you with a bum knee, he could probably beat him hopping on one leg

I think the people who give allan green no chance are gonna be shocked. Give him some chance at least, there is no chance andre ward walks through green. Don't be surprised by a KO
