See what you can do leading up to Mosley - Mora.
The following events will be open to the public in anticipation of "200: Celebrate and Dominate" the Golden Boy pay per view headlined by Shane Mosley v. Sergio Mora.
Sept. 12 (11:00 AM/PT): East Los Angeles Mexican Independence Day Parade:
Location: Begins at East Cesar Chavez Ave & Indiana St.
Oscar de la Hoya, Sergio Mora, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Victor Ortiz, Daniel Ponce De Leon and several local Los Angeles fighters will participate in the largest and oldest Hispanic Parade in the United States as they ride down East Cesar Chavez Avenue in East L.A. followed by a meet-and-greet with fans at the 2010 Mexican Independence Day Festival.
Sept. 14 (12:00 PM/PT): Alvarez, Baldomir, Ortiz & Harris Open Media Workout:
Location: Placita Olvera Stage (125 Paseo De La Plaza Los Angeles, CA 90012)
Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Carlos Baldomir, Victor Ortiz & Vivian Harris will host an open media workout at the famous Placita Olvera in Los Angeles
Sept. 15 (1:00 PM/PT): Mosley vs. Mora Final Press Conference
Location: STAPLES Center - Star Plaza (1111 South Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90015)
Sugar Shane Mosley & Sergio Mora host final press conference before they meet in the ring on September 18 at STAPLES Center.
Sept. 15 (7:00 PM/PT): Official "El Grito" Mexican Bicentennial Celebration and El Temerarios Concert:
Location: Nokia PlazaL.A. LIVE/Nokia Theater
Oscar de la Hoya & Saul "Canelo" Alvarez to attend special celebration that will be simulcast to Mexico City, Mexico.
Sept. 16 (12:00 PM/PT): Pay-Per-View Undercard Final Press Conference
Location: STAPLES Center - Star Plaza (1111 South Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90015)
Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Carlos Baldomir, Victor Ortiz, Vivian Harris, Daniel Ponce De Leon, Antonio Escalante as well as non-televised undercard fighters, will host a final press conference to discuss their respective bouts on the Mosley-Mora undercard.
Sept. 16 (1:00 PM/PT): TeleFutura "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" Official Weigh-In
Location: STAPLES Center - Star Plaza (1111 South Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90015).
Sept. 17 (Noon - Midnight): "Fiesta de la Independencia" Fanfest*:
Location: L.A. LIVE Parking Lot 7 (Figueroa & 11thStreets)
Two-day celebration of the Mexican Bicentennial with live fights, autograph sessions by boxing legends, live music, Mexican themed concessions provided by the Patina Restaurant Group, beer garden and much more!
Sept. 17 (3:00 PM/PT): "200: CELEBRATE AND DOMINATE" Official Weigh-In:
Location: "Fiesta de la Independencia" Fanfest Main Stage at LA LIVE Parking Lot 7 (Figueroa & 11th Streets)
Sept. 17 (10:00 PM/PT): TeleFutura's "Sólo Boxeo Tecate"
Location: "Fiesta de la Independencia" Outdoor Boxing Ring
Live boxing featuring East Los Angeles' Jose Navarro facing Montebello's Nestor Rocha and Santa Ana's Luis Ramos Jr. against an opponent to be announced. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the first bell sounding at 7:00 p.m.
Conjunto Primavera Live Concert
Location: "Fiesta de la Independencia" Main Stage
Multi gold record selling and Latin Grammy nominated band, Conjunto Primavera will perform live following the fights.
Sept. 18 (Noon – Midnight): "Fiesta de la Independencia" Fanfest:
Location: L.A. LIVE Parking Lot 7 (Figueroa & 11thStreets)
Final day of the Fan Fest featuring autograph sessions by boxing legends, live music, Mexican themed concessions provided by the Patina Restaurant Group, beer garden and much more!
