Both fighters square off this Saturday.
Former heavyweight champion "Relentless" Lamon Brewster stepped on the scales today for his first fight under a new promotional contract with Sauerland Event Promotions. He is set to face former British heavyweight champion Michael Sprott on the undercard of tomorrow's Arthur Abraham title defense against Lajuan Simon.
Both fighters stepped onto the scale at 234 lbs. Brewster appeared in top physical condition, despite stepping onto the scale at the heaviest of his career Brewster appeared to be in prime physical condition.
Brewster, a native of Indianapolis who now lives in Los Angeles, California, won the WBO title when he upset then champion Wladimir Klitschko in 2004, which Klitschko later revenged in Germany. He looks forward to continuing his career in front of the German fans, as Brewster explained ""It feels great to be back in Germany. Everyone has been really receptive to me over here. Some of my biggest fans are here. This is where I lost to Wladimir Klitschko and I'm out for revenge. Once I take care of business here, I'm coming for Klitschko." c
