In an open workout for their upcoming bouts, IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, Lamon Brewster and females contender Cecilia Braekkhus showcased their boxing abilities leading up to fight night, where all three will participate in bouts on the same card on Saturday night.
Abraham, (28-0, 23KO's) is the main attraction of the night, and will face unbeaten Lajuan Simon, (21-0, 12KO's) in defense of his IBF strap.
"I am highly motivated," King Arthur said. "The fact that he has never tasted defeat before has further enhanced my motivation. After fighting me, he will know what it is like to leave the ring as the loser."
Cecilia Braekhus (10-0, 2 KOs) takes on Denmark´s Vinni Skovgaard (7-0, 3 KOs) for the vacant WBA/WBC Female Welterweight Titles.
"I know her well," the popular First Lady said. "We have fought five times as amateurs. I have won three of the meetings and look forward to beating her for a fourth time."
A recent signee to Team Sauerland, former WBO Heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster faces Britain's Michael Sprott.
In another bout, Dominik Britsch (12-0, 5 KOs) will challenge Daniel Urbanski (10-4, 3 KOs) for IBF Youth Middleweight Title.
"Dominik is one of the biggest talents I have ever trained," coach Ulli Wegner lauded. "His first-round KO victory over Rachid Ouafi a fortnight ago has confirmed his great shape. He really has a golden future ahead, and he will win his first title on Saturday."
