Dream fights, from Kratos vs. Tails? to Kratos vs. War. Mario vs. Sonic, and the ultimate chick fight. In the ultimate fighting game featuring all game characters, what fights do we want to see?

Well, we have found our reader voice, and he is here with us this week to bring us his list. But first, lots of feedback from last week. We can't cover it all, but we'll cover some. Let's get into it.

The Master Sword is iconic. But in terms of gameplay its no more fun to use than any other sword. Its not as satisfying to kill an enemy with the master sword as it is to blast them with a BFG or use one of Dante's over the top combos.

Sits fine with me. The only reason I ever asked Mark to curb TT talk was because there was a small but vocal group that didn't care for it. So I asked him to turn it down a bit. I have no problem with the Target Terror love Mark shows. I love to flip him shit about it, but it doesn't bother me. (Check out his list this week, you'll love it!)

Yea, I knew I wouldn't seriously upset you Toddo, just givin you guys a hard time...but Salms list is most certainly tremendous...I agree, Justin, nothing is more satisfying in Devil May Cry 3 than than fighting a gargantuan boss and punchin the everlovin shit out of em...I also agree with bluedragonx...the RCP-90 was a FUCKING destroyer; if you get hit by it...YOU ARE DEAD

You guys should be blowing Favre. Talk about give the game away. 6 fumbles, and 2 interceptions does not win an NFC championship. They were all bad, but the last one cost us the game. At least he will be someone elses problem next year. The Moonraker just barely missed my list.

Obviously none of you lot have ever played "Armed & Dangerous" otherwise you would have picked all the guns from this game:
The Land Shark Gun, which fires into the ground a rapidly-maturing infant Land Shark, a creature that 'swims' through the earth, seeking out and devouring enemies.

The Topsy Turvey Gun that temporarily reverses gravity, causing enemies to 'fall' into the sky, before the device shuts down, returning gravity to normal and returning affected enemies to earth, the fall killing them and the Miniture Black Hole Gun.

I feel sorry for anyone who missed out on this awesome game

Thanks everyone, I really like the way some of you went outside the box in your answers. The Star punch from Punch-Out for instance, had me rolling. Keep the great lists coming, and we'll keep reading them.

If you've been reading the Top 5 since I took over 48 weeks ago, you may remember our crossover list, where we discussed how cool it would be to drop our favorite characters into someone else's universe. We swapped out Snake and Sam Fisher. Well this week, we are doing something similar. Drew Robbins will not be with us, as nobody has seen him since Monday's Fact or Fiction. Something tells me Mark now has him locked in his own special corner in hell AKA Marks basement. I wouldn't expect anything less.

The setup: We are on the eve of the creation of the greatest fighting game ever. A virtual no holds barred brawl featuring every single video game character ever made. I tasked each writer with giving us their top five dream fights. You'll see some wacky things I'm sure. I myself am wondering if anybody will want to see Mario vs. Sam Fisher. There's a mismatch of glorious proportions.

Let's do it. Starting us off this week is our Reader Voice, Dominic Holley. Dominic is not a writer for the staff of 411, so his opinions are his alone. Enjoy everyone, and don't forget to leave your dream fights in the comments section.

Ryu/Ken/Chun-Li vs. Scorpion/Sub-Zero/Sonja - This fight barely cracks the list because as it would be an awesome fight, my feelings about it have wavered over time due to the WB buyout, but still, this would be amazing if they could get it on MvC-style

Jack Slade vs. Max Payne - Bullet Time! Both of these guys are no stranger to comin' up out the holster, but lets drop the guns and see who would fare the best in hand-to-hand combat. I have the feeling Max would get his ass handed to him. What would he be able to do about Shadow?

If we are doing bullet time, one word. NEO

Mario vs. Sonic - As a lifelong gamer this is an obligatory entrance, but I'm tired of the friendly competition, and if this was about 17-18 years ago this would be our Rock vs. Stone Cold, so kick some ass already!!!

5.Dante vs. Bayonetta - We all knew this one was coming, the battle of the stylish! This would be one of the most climatic fights ever, the Wicked Witch vs. The Demon Slayer. The Devil Trigger vs. The Torturous Climax. From a cinematic standpoint, it really doesn't get any better than this. If Bayonetta climaxes you just know Dante will be ready whip out Rebellion and cut, cut, cut.

4.Akira vs. Kazuya - I was gonna pick Jin at first, but this is about the big boys, sorry kid. For every SF vs. MK argument, there is a Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter lock up. Of course we have to go poster boy for poster boy. As long as Devil Kazuya isn't unleashed, I'm sure Akira would give him more than he could handle, but I really don't like his chances against Mishima realistically. That wouldn't really take anything away from the fight being a beautiful disaster though, and I would love every second of it.

3.Jak/Daxter vs. Ratchet/Clank - Two Playstation platformer heavyweights will step into the squared circle, but only one odd couple will reign supreme. Who knows, if Jak and Daxter win, maybe Sony will finally give them the Sheamus push and strap that rocket on their asses with a brand spankin' new PS3 title. If there is a title on the way that I don't know about, forgive me as I don't have a PS3, but I haven't heard anything about the Jakster and the...Daxter for quite some time now, so this could be their final opportunity to break that glass ceiling.



2.Ryu Hayabusa vs. Shinobi - Nintendo had Ninja Gaiden, Sega had Shinobi. Now Ninja Gaiden has moved one to bigger and better things on a multi-platform level and Shinobi...fizzled out with one last shot on the PS2 and a lackluster spin-off follow up (I actually liked both PS2 entries, but I guess I was in the minority). This is not a face-off that can be decided by popularity, however, this is a fight to the death, with two ninjas that are more akin to straight fucking you up before they would be jumpin' out of trees and shit. A little advice for Shinobi: watch out for the Kasuri-gama; just because it went over your head doesn't mean he missed you, it more than likely means that you will be headless in 3...2...Well, there ya go.

1.Big Daddy vs. Commander Shepard -As of right now, because of my anticipation for both upcoming sequels, this is my slobberknocker to end all slobberknockers! We all know how much of a pain in the ass the Big Daddy was in the first Bioshock, but know YOU will be in control of a Big Daddy armed to the teeth. Picture a Big Daddy with a drill, a rivet gun, and hella plasmids out the ass! And in the red corner: Commander Shepard, able to change classes at anytime for the sake of combos/versatility. Can you imagine how awesome the Hyper Combos/Fatalities/Astral Heat attacks/Desperation Moves or whatever form of super move they perform could be? Commander Shepard can turn into a laser. A FUCKING laser! That is ALMOST ownage on a Goku-level, not quite, but almost. Between Big Daddy's plasmids and Shepard's Biotic and brand new Vanguard class attacks, this could be a fight for the ages.

Adam LarckHONORABLE MENTIONS

Superman vs. ET - Not a competition between the two characters, but a competition to see who can star in the worst video game. It will be a close call.

All Sonic sidekicks against each other - Maybe natural selection can take its course here and weed out most of the unneeded characters for this series. No matter who wins, it becomes a victory for gamers everywhere.

Little Mac vs. Muhammad Ali - In one corner is a guy who took out Mike Tyson, in the other is a guy who took out many of the greats of his time. Should be a close and great match-up.

5.Marcus Fenix vs. Master Chief - The two big leads of the Xbox can duke it out to see who truly is the star of the system. Both wield big guns against a foreign invasion and destroy anything that moves in the process. Should be a battle where a lot of the location they fight in is charred and destroyed, and even the winner comes out with a few battle wounds.

4.Cole MacGrath vs. Alex Mercer - After all the talk last summer about them being so similar, I'd like to see them go head to head and see who has the advantage. One on side is an electrical charged hero, while the other is a virus-enhanced guy who just likes to cause destruction. Whoever wins, the city still loses.



3.Dante vs. Bayonetta - Their fighting styles are too similar to each other to not have them go at it to see who wins. I have to give a slight edge to Bayonetta though. Even though Dante has two guns and a sword, Bayonetta can match his guns and summon various things with her hair. Of course, once Dante transforms all bets are off.

2.Mega Man vs. Samus Aran - I've always wanted to see who would win between the two people that can constantly pick up and adopt to new powers. Would Samus be able to freeze Mega Man and destroy him with a missile or would Mega Man use one of the many powers he's acquired to find her weakness and easily overtake her? Either way, this close battle would be great to see happen.

1.Solid Snake vs. Sam Fisher - I don't mean a battle between Old Snake and the renegade Sam. I want to see both of them in their stealthy prime. Who is the better person at espionage and taking an enemy out undetected? My guess? Someone is ending up with a broken neck and being stuffed somewhere out of the way.

Solid Snake vs Navi: Why? Because I want to see Navi get fucked up. That's why. HEY! LISTgakkargwargarble!

Ken and Ryu vs Billy and Jimmy Lee: Dragon Punches and Hurricane Kicks galore! Let's ignore those pansy-ass hadokens for this one and making it pure hand-to-hand combat, see which pair of brawlers comes out on top. My money's on the boys from Double Dragon, because they're from Double FREAKING Dragon.

Princess Peach vs Zelda: CATFIGHT!!!

5. Kratos vs Nariko This seems to be a natural throwdown between two Sony exclusives who each wield blades in new and innovative ways. Of course one fights titans and gods while the other doesn't, but the one who doesn't is hot.

4. Rubi Malone vs Lara Croft: Dual-gun toting acrobatic femmes fatales who take on hordes of baddies. Would Rubi's sword give her the edge, or would Lara's anatomically impossible body and superior smarts carry the day? Bonus points for dressing them in thin white cotton and having the fight at SeaWorld.

3. Sephiroth vs Ganondorf: Sadistic sinister one-winged fallen angel of doom vs big nasty magic-wielding ultimate evil. Apart from not wanting this to happen with me in the blast radius, why would anybody not want this? Plus they could play that PIMP music that Uematsu put together. Just the summons alone in this battle would be a thing of beauty.

2. Liu Kang vs Ryu vs Kazuya Mishima: Three of the biggest characters from the three biggest fighting game franchises of all time. Liu and Ryu would try their projectile attacks but Kaz has DA PIMP HAND and it would totally absorb that shit. This matchup is made of win and rainbows. Only without the rainbows, 'cos they're for girls.



1. Mario and Luigi vs Sonic and Knuckles: This has to be the ulltimate dream fight to end all dream fights. 4 iconic characters in the game world who were at the forefront of the first major console war. Stars of platform games that turned thousands of people on to gaming. And except for the recent Olympic Games crossovers, they have never been part of the same game. Sure 3 of the 4 were in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but that didn't let you have the ultimate in 80s platform tag team matchups. Nintendo may have won the console war, but would they win this battle?

5.Dr. Robotnik V Bowser - I've always found villains much more interesting than heroes, and these two especially. OK, one of them's only a heel half the time, but they are iconic, and the battle would be interesting. And Olympic Games don't count as fights.

4.Samus Aran V Master Chief - Slightly out of left field, but I think this is a more interesting match up, with Samus' agility and moveset V The Chief's never say die attitude. Plus there's sexual tension, which always helps in fights.

3.Pauline V Peach V Rosalina V Goombella V Vivian - The Battle for Mario's love! Sure, Peach is the fan favorite, but others were there first, and some of the others have better skills and talents. Can Peach hold her own?

2.Big Daddies V Hunters V Super Mutants - Maybe it's the Pro Wrestler in me, but seeing giant, massive beats clash into each other makes my day. And these three are as big and massive as you can get.

1.Mario V Sonic V Kratos V Master Chief - The four big guns. One has already fallen, but still holds a place in history. The other three are still brawling, still trying to land that knock out blow. But can truly only one survive? Or is there hope for more than one? Only time can tell.

Bayonetta vs Dante: We need to see who is the king/queen of action games. The fight is going to be flashy, that's for sure!



5.Little Mac vs Muhammad Ali - That chump Little Mac managed to knock out Mike Tyson, but how will he fare against the GOAT? That's greatest of all time for all you chumps. I believe Ali would kick his ass...unless Little Mac gets a ton of stars.

4.Mario vs Luigi - Everyone wants to see it! I can picture it now: Mario and Luigi fighting over who gets to tap that ass....what ass? Princess Peach's of course. My money is on who gets the fire flower first....

3.War vs Kratos - We have one of the Four Horsemen and a man-God thing that has enough weapons (and badassery) to kick Gods and spit on their faces. No matter who wins, I imagine plenty of blooshed will be spilled.

2.Darksol vs Dark Dragon vs Zeon - Ok, this is purely a personal choice and one I am probably the only person in the world who understands. So I will explain it to all of you! Darksol and Dark Dragon are the bosses of the first Shining Force, while Zeon is the boss of the second one. During the story of the second game we learn that they all fought each other to see who would escape the dark place where they where sealed and Zeon won, which is why he is wreaking havoc in the world. Now, we never actually got to see the fight, which is why I want to see it! Dark Dragon has three heads, so he is my pick to win it all.

1.Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat Royal Rumble - Ok, so I could not decide on a single fight. Instead let us do it the wrestling route and toss in every character in both franchises against each other in the ultimate last man standing brawl. My money is on Scorpion!

Bayonetta vs Dante: A recent one but I reckon it could be a goodie. Man vs Woman with enough style to blow your mind.

5.Kratos vs Tails - I hate Tails. There is no other reason for this battle. I want to see it impaled by Kratos. Bloody useless flying lump.

4.Sephiroth vs Auron - A battle of the long coats here. I'd enjoy this from a purely fanboy perspective, with some pretty cool swordsmanship on display as well. On top of that, both are technically kind of dead, which would lead to all sorts of interesting possibilities when it comes to a winner. Its almost like a battle of Final Fantasy zombies.



3.Leon vs Wesker - Why is it always Chris that fights Wesker? Chris is useless in a fist fight, as proven by the countless times that Wesker has decimated him one on one. Leon, on the other hand, should prove more of a challenge. Give each guy a knife and see if Leon's special forces acrobatics can match up to Wesker's enhanced speed and agility.

2.Snake vs Sam Fisher - A battle of the stealth combatants, I'm not sure who I would favor here. Snake is my favorite character of the two, but in all honesty Sam seems to be the more adept at sneaking so it all depends on location. A straight fight would go Snake's way. Something a bit more tactical... who knows?

1.Ryo Hazuki vs Kazuma Kiryuu - I'm a massive fan of both the Yakuza and Shenmue series, so I would love to see a battle between the protagonists of each one. Ryo has the edge in technique, but Kazuma is the much more brutal fighter. I'd say this would come down to how far Ryo is willing to go to beat Kiryuu, because Kazama won't hesitate to smash him over the head with whatever comes to hand.

Todd VoteHONORABLE MENTIONS

Kratos vs. Cloud Strife - Let's see how well your turn based attacks work here Mr. RPG. (I'm kidding, FF isn't turn based anymore is it?). In all seriousness, I want to see how Cloud and his big ass sword, with calculated attacks can fare against the anarchic fighting style that Kratos employs.

Bad Mr. Frosty vs. Sub-Zero - Battle of the snow cones. Why? Hell, why not? It's my list and I can do what I want. Plus is there really any denying that Bad Mr. Frosty was a spoof of sorts on Sub-Zero?

5.Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Albert Wesker vs. Bill, Coach, and a Tank - Call me crazy, but I think Wesker can handle the Tank by himself, which will leave one retired military vet and a football coach to deal with two highly trained government agents. Boy, Bill and Coach better hope that the Tank beats Wesker.

4.Capcom & Marvel vs. Mortal Kombat & DCU - Yeah, say what you will about Street Fighter vs. MK, but adding the super heroes changes the game. Mortal Kombat's side will win because even if Ryu does manage to beat Scorpion, what can he do to Superman? That's right, hadoken that bitch.



3.Kratos vs. War - Finally, in my opinion, Kratos has a challenger in the 3rd person action arena, Darksiders is a really fun game (Keep your eyes on 411 for my full review in the coming week). I think Kratos would win this, and fairly easily. I just don' think War has the speed to battle the fallen God of War. But if we are talking about a battle taking place between Kratos' Rage of the Gods mode, and War's Chaos mode, then I give the nod to War. Chaos mode is unstoppable.

2.Captain Novelin vs. Cooking Mama - How does a diabetic deal with all that sugar? Can the captain overcome all the temptation mama would throw at him in the way of cupcakes and cookies?

1.Scorpion vs. Maya - My favorite MK character pitted against my favorite character from the Killer Instinct universe.. Would you guys have expected anything else to be my number 1? You just know Scorpion's combo breaker would involve wrapping that spear around someone's neck.
