That picture you always used at the bottom, the guy on the far left...wow. He is hot. Is he involved with anyone. I could do things to make him feel gooooooooood. Any chance with him? Do I have any chance at all?

Mike is involved with everyone, it's kind of his thing. Honestly, if you have beer you'll make him feel as good as he'll ever want to. As far as having a shot at him, bring beer and you'll probably have a chance. Take that back – you'll definitely have a chance.
Welcome everyone to another issue of the Living LIVE News Report, and as always, I'm your host for the evening, Trace Aber. Happy 4th of July to all of our American readers. Besides being an excuse for blowing stuff up and drinking beer, 4th of July is also my grandmother's birthday. We went to the Columbus Zoo on Sunday to celebrate, but since I write these on Sundays I'm kind of worn out. I'm not one to spend 12 hours in 90 degree weather and not want to die. Anyways, be sure to stay safe and explode things in the name of freedom and all that jazz.
Xbox LIVE Summer of Arcade Plans Revealed
Microsoft has released the full details of its yearly Summer of Arcade for 2011. As usual, if you purchase all of the games featured in the promotion, you'll receive a bonus. This year, it's arcade title Crimson Alliance, which is a co-op dungeon crawler. There are five games with a game getting released each week.
There is a bit of controversy to be had, however. One of the games, Fruit Ninja Kinect, is a Kinect-only game. Players who don't have a Kinect will be out of luck when it comes to getting Crimson Alliance unless they purchase a game they can't play. Fruit Ninja is 800MP while Crimson Alliance is 1200MP, so there are some gripes to be had. Luckily for me I'm not terribly interested in all but From Dust, so I'm not going to participate in this year's promotion anyways.
Anyways, the full list can be found below:
July 20 - Bastion (1200 Microsoft Points)
July 27 - From Dust (1200 Microsoft Points)
August 3 - Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (1200 Microsoft Points)
August 10 - Fruit Ninja Kinect (800 Microsoft Points)
August 17 - Toy Soldiers: Cold War (1200 Microsoft Points)
How do you feel about the lineup? Be sure to let me know in the comments and they'll get posted here next week.
Forza 4 Collector's Edition Goodies Announced
Extra goodies for the Limited Collector's Edition of Forza 4 have been announced, as has the price. Players will get 25 additional cars, as well as some physical extras as well. The entire set, which comes in a polished steelbook DVD case, will set players back $79.99.
You get a bunch of free DLC but it will be available for purchase for every Forza 4 owner on launch. No word on how much it will cost, however. The first pack is the BMW M5 Fan Pack, which includes the titular car and a theme. Other cars include 2008 BMW M3 E92, 2008 BMW Z4 M Coupe and the 1981 BMW M1. But wait, there's more! The VIP pack will include the following:
2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge
2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera
2010 Noble M600
2011 RUF Rt 12 R
But then there's the exclusive Launch Bonus pack, which includes five new cars.
1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe
2011 Koenigsegg Agera
1997 Lexus SC300
2011 RUF RGT-8
2011 Tesla Roadster Sport
Another pack, whose cars have not been announced, is a set of 10 American Muscle cars. You'll also get VIP Membership status within the Forza community, including special recognition in new community features, leaderboards, and ForzaMotorsport.net. Finally, it comes with a book, "Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 Presented by Top Gear," written by the "Top Gear" team that describes in-game cars and some stickers.
Random News and Notes
It looks like the original Crysis will be coming to the Xbox 360. The release date has yet to be announced.
Rumor has it that we haven't seen the last piece of DLC for Red Dead Redemption. When asked if there would be any further content, Rockstar said they would be releasing free DLC, which would most likely be new multiplayer characters.
Odd note of the week: Mass Effect 3 art director Derek Watts recently told Xbox World 360 Magazine that the series was heavily inspiried by the 2001 film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. More details can be found here.

I don't think the problem is with the lineup, the problem is with the fact that if you don't own Kinect, you will not be able to enjoy the rewards that have always come with the Summer of Arcade, like the discount, or free game. Basically Microsoft is punishing anyone who hasn't jumped on board with Kinect. Same story as E3, Microsoft is putting all the eggs in the Kinect basket, and if we don't have it, Microsoft doesn't care.

I've only had my Xbox for about six months. My question is this, has the reward been worth purchasing all of the games?
