Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Boogie Bunnies:
Awww …. ain't they so cute!?
The premise of the game is based on most puzzle type games – connect a certain number of whatever in a variety of formations and keep eliminating them as more pile on until you finally are screwed and lose. CHECK HIGH SCORE NOW!
Ahem. Anyway, it’s kinda like Tetris or any other puzzle game you’ve ever played. Except for a few neat adjustments.

Just like any other puzzle game setup, you’ve got a grid of “blocks” or bunnies in this case, and at the bottom you have a single bunny that throws other bunnies of random colors into the fray as every few seconds another row of bunnies enters the grid. As you can see, they are all randomly colored and the goal is to get three of a kind in a row; sideways or linear, or in a 90 degree pattern. Diagonal combinations don’t work.
The side attack! Learn it, or lose.
One of the advantages you have is that you can throw the bunnies from anywhere on the front row as well as anywhere from either side. This makes your movement around the screen incredibly fast as you are bouncing from side to side trying to add bunnies where you need them and then tossing a few in the center between trips to the sides. The game gets the “boogie” for the bunnies, when you complete combinations.
Combos happen when you set off a bunch of bunnies at once.
Combos left and right – it happens all the time.
For example, say that a bunch of green bunnies have entered the screen from the top in a random, yet organized order where there are several connecting to one another. If you throw a bunny at them to make a three bunny combo, it’ll set all of them off and when you hit a good combo, the music gets all techno and the bunnies start jamming out while you’re playing. The more combos you hit while they “boogie” the higher your score gets.
So in general, you just keep playing and having fun while trying to get the high score.
The game also boasts some fun additions, such as red bunnies that explode the bunnies around them when you make a three bunny combo.
There is a co-op mode for two players as well as competitive on-line play and such modes as Classic, Arcade and Endless.

Gameplay
8.5
I really enjoy the control scheme of this game and the premise behind it, plus the little added bonuses such as the red bunnies that go boom. Lots of fun.
Sound
9.0
Sounds great, with fun music during bunny combo time.
Lasting Appeal
7.5
Regardless of it's level of fun, Boogie Bunnies is going to be a puzzle game at the end of the day. It's fun to pick up when you're bored and need something to do, but it's not going to engulf your entire life playing it. Probably.
Fun Factor
10.0
This game is a total blast to play. It's cheap, it's fun and I know I'll be keeping it on my Xbox 360 Hard Drive.
