B3yond the Special: Top Ten PlayStation 3 Titles
Posted by Mark Salmela on 06.17.2009
411’s Mark Salmela is sick and tired of hearing people say that there are no good games for the PS3. In this edition of B3yond the Special, Mark counts down his top 10 PS3 games! From Infamous and Uncharted to Killzone and even Metal Gear, see which games made the top 10 and in what spot! Plus, leave your list of favorite PS3 games for all to read!
Welcome everyone to a very special presentation. I am your wacky host Mark Salmela, and there will be no interruptions. No Shaq holding me down, no shenanigans to get in the way. As I promised a few weeks back this will be a list of the top ten PlayStation 3 exclusives. I was going to do this as a One Man Water Cooler segment in my normal B3yond the Report column, but there is just too much to discuss to hold this down to a small segment in a news report.
Now to clear everything up there are two asterisks in this list. One is that this list will be made of only PlayStation 3 exclusives. So no Call of Duty, and no BioShock. The PlayStation 3 is a great system, and the waters get pretty murky when I have to take multiplatform games into consideration. This list is more concrete and to the point. If it makes you feel any better the game I have chosen as number one would still be number one regardless of what games from this generation of consoles I included.
The second asterisk is that this list will be made up only of titles that have been released on a disc. That means no downloadable titles such as the Pixel Junk games and Wipeout HD. Those are great titles, and I recently made a top ten downloadable titles list in an edition of B3yond the Report which can be found here. This list will be made of full retail games that have been printed onto discs for the PlayStation 3.
This list is current as of today, June 17, 2009. The reason why I have delayed this list so long is so I could properly include Infamous. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks after the game's release so I could properly beat it and have some time to reflect on it. So without further adieu, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
The Top Ten PlayStation 3 Titles
Honorable Mentions: Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Motorstorm, Resistance: Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword
Honorable Mention: Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds
I really wanted to include this game in the top ten. Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds is an absolute blast to play even to this day. Hell, the Hot Shots games are the only golf games I've ever really enjoyed. In my opinion this game blows every Tiger Woods game out of the water. The swing mechanic is simple yet rather deep, which is a great combination. The online component of Out of Bounds may not be that good but I'd rather play this game locally anyways. Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds can probably be found pretty cheap now days and it's still the golf game to beat this generation.
10.) Resistance 2
The sequel to the PlayStation 3 launch title, Resistance 2 is a huge improvement of the original. Well, it's a huge improvement in every aspect except the online multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, the co-op is tremendous, and is the reason why Resistance 2 makes the top 10 at all. I love Insomniac, but they really dropped the ball on the multiplayer versus mode. I felt the original Resistance's multiplayer was fun and different from your standard multiplayer, but Resistance 2 abandoned that to become just another generic multiplayer shooter.
But enough hate, because the co-op mode of Resistance 2 is incredible. Getting a team of 8 people as you march through various missions exclusive to the co-op mode is a great time. There are enemies everywhere and without teamwork you will get annihilated. The single player mode to Resistance 2 is nothing to sneeze at and actually provides for a great cliff-hanger ending. The water-physics may be a joke but the single player is still a blast to play.
9.) Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Yet another title by Insomniac, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is one of the best Ratchet games ever made. Insomniac promoted the game as a Pixar movie turned into a video game and it shows. The production values to Tools of Destruction are great and the storyline is surprisingly good. The graphics are clean and crisp, the voice acting is top notch, and the weapon selection is great as always. And the weapon selection needed to be great, as Insomniac has created some of the best weapons in a video game ever.
My one real complaint with Tools of Destruction is the difficulty level. Now it may have something to do with my previous experience with the Ratchet games but I don't think I was ever really challenged in the game minus the final boss. Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time will be coming to the PS3 this fall and I hope they ramp up the difficulty a little bit because I cannot begin to explain how pumped I am for this title. A Crack in Time will be bringing back my favorite villain from the Ratchet series in Dr. Nefarious and so far the game is looking great. It's too bad Sony didn't really show much of a Crack in Time at E3, because it deserves better.
8.) WarHawk
The first great multiplayer game on the PS3, WarHawk was also the first game to demonstrate the potential of the PSN as a host of high-quality PlayStation 3 titles. WarHawk has been out for almost 2 years now and still receives continued support by Incognito. WarHawk pits teams of up to 32 players in an all-out war. Players can jump into a variety of vehicles including airplanes, tanks, and jeeps as they venture across large maps in team or single player based gameplay. My favorite mode has always been the capture the flag mode, and WarHawk's CTF mode is incredible. There are so many different ways to attack the flag it is an absolute feel-good moment to actually capture the opposing team's flag.
WarHawk has also changed considerably since its release. In fact I'd dare to say no game has gone under such a substantial evolution as WarHawk has through its three expansion packs. Weapons such as the drop-ship and the jetpack have completely changed the game for the better. The WarHawk community is still alive and well and I really hope the rumors are true in that a sequel is currently in development for the PS3. WarHawk in space? Why the hell not?
7.) Motorstorm: Pacific Rift
I want to take you on a roller coaster. That one line describes Motorstorm perfectly. It's a roller coaster. A dammed good one too. Motorstorm is the perfect adrenaline rush and Pacific Rift improved on the original in every way possible. There's split screen multiplayer, the graphics are better, there's more variety in the levels, and there are more vehicles to choose from. Pacific Rift takes the elements of nature into effect and has led to the creation of my favorite racing game ever. I can't get enough of it. Pacific Rift will give you an adrenaline rush every time you play it. The single player is long as hell and the online runs perfectly. Here's hoping the next Motorstorm will be even better.
6.) Infamous
The first title from Sucker Punch on the PS3, Infamous is an open world game that puts you in control of a superhero. But you don't have to stay a superhero, in fact it might even be more fun to become a villain and destroy Empire city. It's all up to you in Infamous. Infamous is a great summer blockbuster and has come out at the perfect time. Besides Prototype there is nothing else coming out right now that is of the level of quality Infamous will provide. Cole's moves are awesome, and the sense of power you feel towards the end of the game is incredible. There is no one who can stand in the way of some of the later powers you receive in the game.
Sucker Punch has effectively created their own superhero, which is why the game works so well. Unlike current comic book super heroes Sucker Punch was free to give Cole his own strengths and weaknesses, and not have be confined in ways a game would have if players had to control someone like Superman. Cole is basically a battery, which works perfectly in Infamous. You can charge yourself up *your battery* by draining the energy out of anything that runs on electricity in Empire City, which amounts to a lot of stuff. You then turn that energy into attacks that you unleash upon your enemies. Infamous has a great story and is a lot of fun to play. If you own a PS3 don't miss out on this title.
5.) Valkyria Chronicles
It's an absolute shame so many people missed out on Valkyria Chronicles. As someone who has consistently ranted about how much he hates RPGs, specifically JRPGs, Valkyria Chronicles has proved to be the exception. The gameplay is just so much fun and doesn't rely on the traditional turn-based gameplay that has turned me off to other JRPGs.
Valkyria Chronicles has an astonishing art direction. It's a water painting come to life. There isn't anything else like it. The story is also awesome. It's an actual story for someone like me who hates all the fantasy crap that's littered in other JRPGs. While Valkyria Chronicles does get a little fantasy and over-the-top towards the end it was built up so nicely that I actually didn't mind for once. I can't give Valkyria Chronicles any more of a recommendation other than I actually loved it, and I can't stand any other JRPG on the market.
4.) Killzone 2
Killzone 2 has been synonymous with the PlayStation 3 since E3 2005 where Killzone 2's trailer stole the entire show. Sure at the time it was pre-rendered but Guerilla did an outstanding job and managed to live up to the hype that the original trailer provided. Sony bet the bank on Killzone 2, and while there is an argument to be had as to whether or not it sold enough that doesn't change the fact that Killzone 2 looks amazing and is a blast to play. The multiplayer mode is booth deep and addicting. The single player looks incredible and does a great job keeping the player in the action. It's bloody, it's gory, it's downright nasty, and I love it. Killzone 2 is the premier first person shooter on the PS3.
3.) Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Just like Insomniac I have always had a soft spot for Naughty Dog, and they never fail to deliver. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a summer blockbuster wrapped up in a video game. It did exploring for treasure right. It out-Tomb Raider'd Tomb Raider. The graphics are amazing even after a year and a half, and it has some of the best voice acting ever in a video game. Characters such as Drake and Sully feel like actual people thanks to the voice acting, and work to make a good game great. The twist in Uncharted kept the gameplay fresh and didn't take anything away from the story.
Besides the voice acting another thing that works to make Uncharted great is the way the characters move and flow. Everything from the way the characters walk to the way they animate is near flawless and blurs the lines between controlling a character and becoming a character. Uncharted 2 has to be one of my most anticipated games for 2009, and with good reason. Uncharted 2 nearly stole the damn show with its impressive demo at Sony's press conference. My heart was racing as I watched the building collapse around Drake live at E3. And after playing both the co-op and multiplayer modes of Uncharted 2 I am sold that this will be one of the holiday's best games. How do you improve on a near perfect single player mode? By adding an awesome co-op mode and a great multiplayer mode, that's how.
2.) Little Big Planet
It wasn't until recently that I came to realize just how great Little Big Planet is. I mean I loved the game, even at launch, but only recently has it clicked just how great this game is. A couple of weeks ago I was with a friend who loved video games growing up but due to college hadn't kept up with the current generation of consoles. One of the first games I showed him as Little Big Planet, and not only was I enjoying my third play-through, but my friend was ecstatic. Little Big Planet is a very special game, and you can feel the love that Media Molecule put into it when you play Little Big Planet. It's one of the best platformers ever made.
But I'm not finished. Not only is Little Big Planet one of the best platformers ever made, but it's entirely customizable. You can do basically anything the developers can do in the create mode. There are endless user-created levels online and there are dozens of levels that not only match the already great level of quality Media Molecule provides but in some cases may even surpass their efforts. If you can think it you can make it. There's no way someone should be able to re-create something like R-Type in Little Big Planet but by god it's been done. Little Big Planet is an absolute treat, and is begging to be bundled in with every future PlayStation 3 console. Now if only Media Molecule would release more levels already.
1.) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
How could this not be number 1? Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is everything I've ever wanted and more. Hell, I have never been so attached emotionally to a video game. I couldn't ask for anything more. I don't care how many damn cut scenes are in MGS4, I don't care if it's somewhat linear, there's nothing that can compare to when you become emotionally attached to something. You can't artificially create that feeling. You can't substitute that. Metal Gear Solid 4 blows away anything you can find on the current generation of consoles. There isn't even a close second.
I could sit here and rattle on about how great the graphics are and how great the story is, but I don't need to. It's Metal Gear Solid 4. It speaks for itself. Hell, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is basically two games in one in that it includes Metal Gear Online, a full-on multiplayer game. And guess what? Metal Gear Online rocks too. Hell it should speak volumes as to how good Metal Gear Solid 4 is when the multiplayer was overlooked and forgotten about because of how incredible the single player was. Thanks to Metal Gear Solid 4 Solid Snake will go down among people such as Mario, Sonic, and Link as video game icons. Metal Gear Solid 4 was the perfect closure to one of the best series of all time, and I'm proud to have had the opportunity to play Metal Gear Solid 4.
That's all folks!
Do you agree? Disagree? Be sure to leave your own list below. I can't possibly think of any other good PlayStation 3 exclusives that I missed. Sure Haze wasn't absolutely terrible, but it wasn't anywhere near the caliber of the games I listed above. The same thing applies with Lair although it took until the dual-analog stick patch to make it playable. Oh and SOCOM: Confrontation was just plain terrible. With that said be sure to leave your opinions below, I always read them. I can also be reached at marksalms@gmail.com and by the PSN. My PSN ID is Fester. B3yond the Report will resume its regular schedule shortly, cya!
Top three are right, I'd just switch them around personally. I loved Uncharted, so I'd put that in number 1. Despite declaring LBP my favorite PS3 game of last year, in retrospect I've realized that MGS4 is a bit better, so that would go at number 2.
Also, for some reason I really hated Ratchet and Clank Future, could never exactly figure out why I disliked it. Something just didn't click for me.

I've had my PS3 for almost a year and still haven't played Metal Gear. I should probably get on that. HEY DENIS!!
Posted By: Jeremy (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 11:17 PM
I agree with this list but I would have put Infamous at number 3. These are the games that people should get a PS3 for.

I love valkyria chronicles!
Posted By: Matt P (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 11:55 PM
I am extremely happy that you put MGS4 as #1. It is my favorite game franchise of all time.

Yea...all that proved is that the best PS3 has to offer (as exclusives) pales to anything 360 has
Posted By: Ser Drake (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 12:41 AM
San Drake,
Keep telling yourself that, fanboy. How long have been gaming? Get back to playing your 360 or Wii. Quit hating on games that are better than anything you've tried previously.
Posted By: David (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 01:14 AM
Uncharted Jakes fortune was A badass game. I just think they killed it with the monster's anybody agree?

"Yea...all that proved is that the best PS3 has to offer (as exclusives) pales to anything 360 has"
You are kidding, right? LOL! MGS4 alone blows away anything that is on the 360 by far.
These games are amazing and I agree with almost every game on the list.
With God of War III, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank ACiT, GT5, MAG, ModNation Racers, The Last Guardian, The Agency, DC Universe Online, Fat Princess, Heavy Rain, and so many other awesome games coming out for the PS3 in the near future.. the quality of the games on the PS3 will only continue to get even better.

Great list Salmela, don't let the fanboys get to you!
Posted By: joesand (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 02:29 AM
Oh boy, let's not start another flame war. (But ya, Ser Drake is waaaayyyyyy off!)
I agree with most of the list although I would have had inFamous a bit higher, #3 perhaps. Definitely a must play no matter what console you prefer!
The game is tons o' fun. Engaging story, outstanding graphics. Gameplay is easy to pickup, yet tough enough to master. Lightning, bosses, climbing, jumping, saving, destroying, yada, yada, yada... 9.5/10!
BTW, I think you've finally convinced me to try VC again, demo was ok, does it get that much better?. Haven't been into RPG's for a couple years but I recently started up FFVII and am loving it! The charactors look awful compared to the rest of the screen but the story and music are great.
Consider me a VC convert, I'll be picking it up soon! Now where's my BB gift card?

Not a single game on the 360 is even half as good as MGS4.

You are actually right. And this is coming from a person who has ONLY owned Sony systems (PS1, 2, & 3). XBox likely has a larger scale of good games (but remember GTA, Fallout, and others are multi-consoled). What is great about PS3 is (in my opinion) MGS4 and Drakes blow ANY game out of the water. And single game. They are just leagues above anything else out there. And Resistance is basicially Halo which is X-Box's claim to fame... But yea, I say the differance is PS3's Best games MURDER X-Box's, but X-Box has more.
Posted By: Craig (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 06:21 AM
Great list. Metal Gear is definitely #1 but the rest of the top 6 ca actually move around depending on personal taste and/or mood...
Posted By: Diavo (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 06:39 AM
Explain to me how MGS4 BLOWS away gears of war 2? I own both systems, I prefer the 360 myself but please don't act like one system is ssssoooo much better than the other just because you're too poor to buy both systems. NO SIR!!!!
Posted By: No sir Jenkins (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 07:49 AM
No love for Wipeout HD?? :-(
Posted By: BradleyLove (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 08:07 AM
Thanks for all the feedback so far guys, keep it up!
And Adam yeah Valkyria does get a lot better, as I agree the demo was nothing special. The World War 2 story of a country stuck trying to defend its homeland while 2 giant armies are fighting really grabbed me. I really liked the characters.
Oh and Scotty as I wrote above I personally don't think the monsters/twist took anything away from the story. I appreciate Naughty Dog changing up the gameplay towards the end. It really wasn't anything that over powered you or took things too far in my opinion.

you ps3 fanboys are funny...
"Not a single game on the 360 is even half as good as MGS4."
Yeah guess we aren't going to count:
Fable II
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Gears of War II coming up...
Crazy fanboys

I think your list is very good. To be honest the only reason i got ps3 was to play MGS4 and it was the best game i ever played!!!

Umm lets see, mass effect had a broken gameplay system no matter what you say. It was a horrible third person shooter with RPG roled in.
Gears of War II is overated buddy. No offense, but they tried to do a story in this one, and it sucked. The gameplay is generic. Run to cover, shoot, cover, shoot, cover shoot.
Halo, yeah I am not touching that, because the first one was a amazing, but the last 2 over overrated multiplayer games.
Fable II!!!! Why even mention this game? I love fable do not get me wrong but how can you compare a game WHERE YOU DO NOT DIE EVER, to MGS? It had the worst ending in history too.
Spoilers.
It took one shot to kill the guy you been playing the whole game to fight. With a stupid ass dream sequence before it. Then you pick a card, and all you get is a note from your sister saying she is ok. Stupid stupid stupid.
But seriously, pick a better 360 exclusive then those things.
You obviously did not play MGS4, because anyone who knocks that game has never played it. I even had someone say the token it is a movie, then play the game and said ok that was awesome.
Posted By: what is a fanboy? (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 11:31 AM
What this list needs.... is more cowbell. And less fanboy bitching in the comments.
Posted By: Todd Vote (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 11:39 AM
I first want to ask Shaqy, what the fuck?! Kobe becomes your newly crowned equal and you just take a week off. C'mon Diesel don't let us down, tell us how your ass tastes for next season...gonna ride Bron Bron's coat tales for one more taste of victory?
When you started the list with honorable mention to Motorstorm I thought you were including the franchise. I'm happy you had P.R. on the list but I'm surprised you didn't place it higher. I would have it just above Infamous at 5th.
I also have to unfortunately agree that Confrontation was a major let down. For someone who can't sip the Socom koolaid enough it now collects dust. I'm ashamed in it's current state. And thanks for making the list exclusives, it cuts down on complaints.

reading comprehension FTW...I didn't say the game sucked...I was replying to the guys who said there weren't ANY games on the xbxo 360 HALF as good as MGS4.
If you would have bothered to read maybe you could have seen that...I think i have proved my point based on the games listed...and about the PS3 fanboys based on your response
Posted By: Nathanial (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 12:05 PM
Man, I own 7 of those games. I guess I am gonna have to go back and take a look at Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and Motostorm: Pacific Rift. I missed out on those for some reason or the other. But I'll be bumping them up to the top of my Gamefly Que in just a moment.

Personally,I'd take Killzone 2 over Metal Gear Cutscene 4
Posted By: Guest#8506 (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 03:38 PM
As a dude who owns a ps3 and xbox 360, and prefers his ps3, MGS4 is extremely overrated. I personally think Killzone 2 is the best game on PS3 and my fav current gen game til now BUT Gears 2 and HAlo 3 come awfully close. IMO Gears 2 absolutely destroys MGS4...
MGS4 only appeals to HARDCORE metal gear fans. Drake 1 compares to Gears 2 but gears is still better. Drake 2 looks wicked but again, MGS4 should not be at the top of the list at all. That game was solid, not spectacular imo.
Posted By: Jose (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 03:45 PM
Ser Drake,
You're not allowed to have your own opinion about things. People are quick to label you a fanboy when you say something they don't like.
Posted By: Guest#4357 (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 03:53 PM
Not really into the fanboi thing. I have both systems. Im a fan of the games! What has disappointed me for the PS3 so far is the lack of RPG games. I don't understand why none of the developers have targeted this sooner for the PS3.
Posted By: Shane (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 05:26 PM
And this list is just ANOTHER case that a PS3 is nothing more than a "Metal Gear Solid Player". LOL. What a top ten list of bullshit. Richard Simmons would gawk at the gayness.

"No love for Wipeout HD?? :-("
While it was released on a disc in Europe *I believe*, it's a download exclusive in the US. I included it as either number 2 or 3 in my downloadable top ten list which I linked at the top of the article. Yes it is a good game, but I considered it to be a downloadable experience.
Oh and thanks for all the comments everyone. I'm not going to defend MGS4 as number one as I feel I did a good enough job in the article itself. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

RE: Infamous
I played the demo, and thought everything looked washed out. It looked like a mediocre PS2 game. The few powers you get seem very generic. In what ways is this game so good? Maybe the demo wasn't representative of the experience, and I don't want to skip a good title.
As for MGS4, a friend lent it to me weeks ago and I haven't touched it. MGS2 was so bad toward the end and MGS3 was unplayable with that idiotic camouflage system. Now I feel like I have to play the damn thing if only to say I tried it.
Posted By: Shockmaster (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 07:07 PM
MGS4 is IMO the best game ever. Ever. God Of War III will probably trump it, but for right now, MGS4 is simply the best piece of entertainment I've seen/heard/played.
When I get my 360 I won't be getting Mass Effect. I'm not an RPG fan at all. Moreover, I'm a TOTAL Star Wars Fanboy, I bought my Xbox specifically for KOTOR and KOTOR II and both games almost literally bored me to tears.
So I'm not an RPG fan and I'm not a big fan of BioWare, either.
Posted By: Guest (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 07:12 PM
great list, like many others I feel Infamous should be at the most #3 on the list. I have yet to play MGS4 or Uncharted, but I know I must before too long. Also glad to hear you liked VC! Really one of the best RPG's on nextgen systems.
Posted By: jmc4534 (Guest) on June 17, 2009 at 08:02 PM
I am a fan of both consoles but you can never say one is better then the other because their both good at what they do. For the 360 they had a head start but PS3 are showing that they are getting better and better. Here are a few facts.
For PS3
:Hands down Gran Turismo is a far better racing franchise than Project Gothem
:PS3 Has MGS4
:No Red Ring of Death
:Killzone 2 is better then Gears of War 2
For XBox 360
: PS3 Will never have Dead Rising
: 360 has most of the franchises that made the playstation what it was
: Xbox live is better then Playstation network
: Grand Theft Auto expansion packs
Only a few but I hate people that say i love the PS3 so the 360 sucks and vice versa each are great in different ways.

"You obviously did not play MGS4, because anyone who knocks that game has never played it."
I've played it. I can knock it if I want to. I don't enjoy the stealth espionage action that MGS presents. Thats my opinion, I'm entitled to it. As a matter of fact I'm not sure there is an MGS game I haven't at least attempted to play.

Alriht, I own both consoles, and have games for both. As for this list XBox owners can't deny the quality of these games. The demo for inFamous really doesnt do the game justice and it is a great game. Valkyria Chronicles is an amazing game and one of my favorites, and the hard skirmishes borderline on impossible. Little Big Planet is tons of fun, nuff said there. As for MGS 4 and Uncharted, they both have amazing stories, and there are several pionts in MGS4 I have save files for so I can revisit certain points whenever I want because they are so epic, those who have played it know what im talking about. As for multiplayer, MG online is fun, still the only game where I can shoot someone in the head one minute then sneak up behind them and slit their throat the next. Killzone 2 is also alot of fun online, not to mention both are free. Concerning XBox exclusives Mass Effect was awesome. It had somewhat clunky shooting mechanics for an XBox game and the equip system was really wierd but the game was so good it is easily overlooked. As for Halo, love the multiplayer, hate the single player, it's no fun beating in the heads of AI that has no common sense and the story isn't that great. The same goes for Gears as far as im concerned, however when you play against opponents with as much sense as you do (arguably) the games both become much better. Currently I think the XBox has the edge in multiplayer and the PS3 in storytelling and singleplayer. In the future I am inclined to favor the PS3, for one the online is free and the number of users looks to be growing much faster than Live, they have a ton of upcoming exclusives that I feel outshine those that Microsoft has planned, and they look like they are about to get a ton of quality multiplayer, MAG and Uncharted 2 from what I've seen are gonna be awesome online.

I'm not much of a PS3 fan,but they have some games taht are better, but 360 has the library.
So I put it into terms of do I want the expensive sports car that's less realiable or a 4 door sedan with relaibility.
So the allegory goes,PS3 has great games but you'll finish those games after a while, that is where the 360 has the PS3

If this is the best your system has to offer, you shouldn't even bother writing a column.
