UPDATE: Twilight The Video Game
Posted by Scott J. Simpson on 07.30.2009

A public relations representative for Twilight The Video Game spoke with 411mania and she shed some light on the development of the game.

Wednesday, we brought you the news that a video game based on the “Twilight” novels was currently in the works, however very little information about the game has been released. After speaking with Christine, a public relations representative for Twilight The Video Game, we learned more about the development of the game, a possible release date and information on how the game will tie in with the novels.

“The game has been in-development since the release of the Twilight DVD,” explained Christine, “It was an idea by our game director/programmer, Brandon Gardner. It was something that when he watched Twilight, he was deeply fascinated by it and wanted to make a game about it. He has even read the entire Twilight Saga, which added more fuel to his passion in making this game.”

Since the game has only been in-development since March, Christine could not reveal a set release date, nor could she tell us which systems the game could possible grace.

“I can say at this time we can't disclose a release date on the actual game,” commented Christine. “The game will be released to Summit Entertainment for publishing once the game is extremely well polished and of the highest quality.”

With the game in the early stages of development, few details about the gameplay behind Twilight The Video Game can be revealed, however Christine assured us that the game will revolve around the books “Twilight,” “New Moon” and “Midnight Sun.”
