Good morning everyone and welcome to 411mania's LIVE coverage of the Nintendo E3 press conference.

The conference is set to begin at 9:00am Pacific and we'll be updating this page every few minutes.
Don't forget to refresh your browsers frequently!

It seems Nintendo does not have a wireless internet conection set up. Ramon will have notes at the conclusion of the event. -Caleb

Finally...ok guys here goes...

9:01am: Reggie comes out and says he's happy...funny cause he has a serious face. He says that this year is a coming out party of sorts for the video game industry. He starts going into how the Wii is expanding the market. Over 69% of industry growth comes from the sale of Nintendo products. The DS has doubled in sales since 2005.

9:09am: More marketing hooplah. Nintendo is pwning in sales basically. 140 new games for the DS and 100 for the Wii in development.

9:17am: Reggie unveils the wii Zapper....finally the official gun..you can hold it like a machine gun!! (doesn't look like the "shotgun" version from E3. Resident Evil: UC can be used with the Wii Zapper, as can ghost Squad from SEGA. Medal of honor is shown using the Wii Zapper and we're told that up to 32 players can combine in multiplayer mode. Wii zapper will come with a new Nintendo title......for $19.99

9:20am: Soul Calibur Legends is shown and we get some gameplay footage. smackdown vs. RAW 2008 goes up on screen. We get the first footage of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Super Smash Bros Brawl, we get video of Giga bowser. And for teh release date....SSBB will launch on December 3rd. More news coming.

9:28am: We now get some gameplay footage from Zelda:Phantom Hourglass...looks hard. Link can use the grappling hook to tight-walk. some hot girl comes out to show us Metroid Prime 3. MP looks pretty good graphically. You can lock onto an enemy but still have the ability to aim anywhere around the screen. Samus can enter "hyper Mode" to be super effective but you can't use it for too long unless you want to get corrupted.

9:31am: Reggie is getting into Nintendo's online plans. Shows some videos that reiterate that the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection has hade millions of users to date...over 5.5 million to be exact. A new channel is about to be announced...."Check me out". You can submit your Miis and vote on different Miis. There will be contests and promotions and if you like what yous ee, you can take one "home". Where are the other online games?? Reggie knows we want more...and we say yes...Madden 08 and FIFA 08 will be online capable. Dragon Quest Monsters-Joker for the Nintendo DS will also be Wifi compatible. Guitar Hero III will also be online capable..yes!

9:37am: UH OH...Mario Kart Wii is announced! First quarter of 2008 is the window! We get footage...sweet...will be online capable. Will feature online battle mode...reggie says Stay Tuned for the amount of players available online. Reggie shows a custom steering wheel for the Nintendo Wii/Mario kart Wii. This thing looks much better than the one for GT or Monster truck for the Wii. reggie says it'll come with mario Kart...good times!

9:39am: Reggie says is time to talk about the mass market. Sotaru Iwata hits the stage and talk Brain Age 2 and Wii Sports. Iwata goes into the good old days of gaming. Goes into how he started playing games and how fun they were; basically saying how Nintendo wanted to bring that initial enjoyment back. When Iwata speaks, we all listen.

9:46am: Iwata wants to bring out some new software to keep things going and to appeal to everyone. Says that Miyamoto will make an apperance in a few m inutes to show off a new title that will have mass appeal. We shall see about that Iwata! And now time for more videos.......it shows a family spending some quality time with Brain Age 2 and Super Mario Galaxy. Two of the kids have braces and huge mouths. August 20th is the release date for BA 2. Super Mario Galaxy needs to be on my shelf at home...Reggis goes into the beauty of playing in a new way. Where's thh release date Reggie?? where?

9:52am: Mario can turn into a bee...wtf? November 12th...there you go folks...the Super Maro Galaxy release date. We want more breakthrough games says Reggie....well yeah...so whatcha gonna do brother? Reggie says Nintendo is just getting started. Picross Ds is on the way as it MySims for the DS (you already knew that). The show disney's High Schol Musical "Making the Cut". Rayman Ravin Rabbids 2 is coming soon too....but when?

9:56am: Reggie shows off My Word coach and My Life Coach by Ubisoft. He claims our moms might school us this timr around. Pffft...I say you don't know me well Mr. Fils-Aime.

9:58am: They are ready to show off one more title....WiiFit. This thing comes with a step (like the ones they use for aerobics n's tuff) ...but much fancier and white.that recognizes your feet's movement...whoa..they show some gy doing pushups and the game is keeping track of his workout while using his miis doing some funny stuff on screen.. This thing recognizes your entire body. Some kid is doing headers on the soccer field...crazy.

10:01 Miyamoto hits the stage with his translator. This guys just beams awesomeness. Miyamoto says that health has mass appeal and he wanted to create something that would turn that into an interactive and fun software. Three people are on stage doing exercises. Some guy is doing step aerobics and the Miis are o nscreen duplicating what he does. Looks like Dance Dance but withoug the seizure-like qualities. there is an onscreen display that shows off how you are doing with balance. Looks funky. there are balance games, yoga, aerobics and over 40 exercises.

10:06am The "wii Balance Board" is the name of this thing. It can measure your weight and how your balance shifts. We are ensured that the balance board is wireless. Miyamoto is going to do a "body check" on Reggie...umm..say what now?! reeggie steps on the balance board and the Wii remote is pulled out...Reggie is now balancing himself and the board is getting his his center of gravity. Reggie offers his wallet to the translator so that his weight decreaes. The translator wants his wallet..and so do I.

10:11am: We get to see Reggie's Body Mass index and it says he's overweight lol. The crowd eats it up and laugh histerically. Reggie says that muscle weighs more than fat. Now its a header contest (soccer) between miyamoto and reggie...looks hella funny as Miyamoto heads someone's cleats and loses points hahahaha...It' not just soccer balls being thrown...be careful lol.

10:14am: And that's a wrap folks...Reggie thanks the masses and says they'll be satisfied when Nintendo owns the world...kidding....he'll be satisfied when video games are the overwhelming choice for leisure time.
