It's only a few days away and we've got you covered!
With just under a week to go until this year's E3 Business & Media Summit in downtown Los Angeles, we thought it'd be time to break down just what's in store for you guys in the coming days. Before we get any hands-on time with the big games this year, there's a couple of major press conferences taking place.
For starters, on Monday, July 14th we'll be attending the Microsoft Press Conference which begins at 11 a.m. PT and we'll be live blogging the entire event. Later in the afternoon we'll be at the EA Press Conference at 3 p.m. PT. We'll be looking to blog the event as well. That will pretty much do it for Monday as it will give us time to post our thoughts on everything we saw at both press conferences along with any new tidbits and information we're bound to pick up along the way. Not to mention a couple of drinks before we really dig into the show the next day.
On Tuesday morning, we'll be attending both Nintendo's and Sony's Press Conferences and we'll be sure to bring you the latest updates with our live blog at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. PT respectively.
Tuesday will also mark the first official day of E3 where we'll be going hands-on with some of the latest titles from EA, Midway, Nyko and THQ. Some of the big titles coming out of those meetings will include games like Saints Row 2, Smackdown vs. RAW 2009, Viva Piñata Pocket Paradise, de Blob, Madden NFL 09, Crysis Warhead, Skate It, and Harry Potter – Half Blood Prince to name a few. Of course Tuesday will also include our first look at Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe as well as hands-on time with TNA iMPACT! We'll also join Sony for an exclusive cocktail party later in the evening to break the publisher into giving us all of their secrets over plenty of alcohol!
On Wednesday, we'll bring you updates from our meetings with Ubisoft, Xseed, Sony Online Entertainment, Natsume, Warner Interactive, EA, Capcom and with Harmonix for Rock Band 2.
Thursday sees us going hands-on with the highly anticipated Fallout 3 as well as meetings with Atari, Konami, Majesco, Gamecock and Akella.
It's all fun and games but believe us, it's hard work that we'll gladly do to bring you all the biggest news from E3 2008. Throughout the week, we'll begin posting previews from our time with various titles from the big publishers and we'll make sure to include all of the little details that we're sure you want to know including the first set of screenshots and impressions from some of the unannounced titles that we've been told will be on display.
Check back with us this upcoming Monday and also watch out for our pre-E3 podcast show with Tommy Coloma, Jacob Lopez and myself (Ramon Aranda) as we dish out our thoughts and gameplan for heading into this year's summit.

I hope that Sony makes some good PS3 annoucements. It's a make or break year for them IMO.

I also plan to do a "second opinion" Sony press Conference report. Consider it more of "afterthoughts" since my report on the Sony press conference is more my opinions than it is an unbiased report *although I will not be afraid to rip Sony a new one if they announce/do something dumb as hell*. Mine will be up probably Tuesday night.

Like Mark I intend on having some sort of Microsoft follow up after their press conference. Hopefully I'm writing about something more interesting then a price drop on the 20GB Pro and Fable II.
