Group plans a public protest of Virtual Army Experience in Philadelphia
After Downing Street—a coalition of over 200 veterans, political activist and peace groups—have planned a protest of the Army Experience Center, which will be appearing at the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia on May 2. The group's website calls for protesters to join them, offering detailed plans and emphasizing the non-violent nature of the demonstration.
The protest is aimed at the Virtual Army Experience, a traveling recruitment tool that uses games and interactive exhibits. The VAEs have drawn a lot of negative political attention, including a call from Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) to eliminate funding for the project.
Communists have nothing better to do with their time I guess.

Fight your own useless wars. There's no respawning in the game of life.

Please,
with the economy as bad as it is, people are flocking to the recruiting office. The military doesn't need a video game to recruit people, just the promise of 4 years of steady paychecks with full benefits are doing that. That's why I reenlisted.
