New Fallout Announced for 2010

Prepare for Las Vegas ...

Bethesda Softworks has announced today that another Fallout game is being planned for 2010. Tentatively subtitled "New Vegas," all that is known of this time is that it is being slated for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC release. Bethesda has contacted Obsidian Entertainment, the group created of former members of Interplay's Black Isle Studios (original creators of Fallout 1 and 2) and have signed them on for the game. The game will take place in post-apocalyptic Las Vegas and Bethesda thus far are not giving details on what engine will power the game, although it will not be a direct sequel to Fallout 3.

Bethesda has stated that more will be revealed about the game once Obsidian is ready to show it.
