Two Content Updates Available for Need For Speed Undercover
Posted by James McGee on 05.01.2009

Fans of Need for Speed Undercover have two new content updates to look forward to. The first is The Challenge Series, a free download with 60 events over two game modes. "Highway Wars" pits players against three AI-controlled opponents while "Highway Checkpoint" is a timed raced from one checkpoint to another through heavy traffic. As players progress through the challenges, they will be able to earn three new vehicles: Battle Machine Mazda RX-7 (after 30 events), Speed Machine Porsche 911 GT2 (after completing all events), and Dominator Corvette Z06 (for dominating at least thirty-one events).

The Boss Car Pack gives players access to Undercover's eight boss vehicles, which are all tuned for maximum performance within their tiers. This update will retail for $5.00 (or 400 Microsoft Points).

The Challenge Series and Boss Car Pack are available now through the Playstation Network, and will be available soon for Xbox 360 and PC.

Cool gives me a reason to play again. I have not even won every race yet so hopefully the new cars are good enough so i can finish the rest off
