The second I heard Team Ninja and Metroid in the same sentence, my heart died a little and this trailer confirmed my suspicions. Ugh. They've turned it into Ninja Gaiden with guns.

Cry more. It's been almost 20 years and it's about time we got a story about Samus to go along with the damn game. It's a no-win scenario. If they would've done another FPS people would've called it rehashing, if they did a 2D sidescroller on the Wii fans would've bitched at them not using the Wii to it's max. Fans have been wanting a full 3D Metroid for a long time and now it even comes with a story. Fuck yeah I say.
