NCsoft Announces Release Date for Aion

The next big MMO coming your way September 22nd.

NCsoft announced today that its upcoming MMO Aion will be released in North America on September 22nd and in Europe on September 25th. Aion is set in a massive conflict between divine beings where players take on the role of determining the fate of the world. Flight is a key part of Aion, as players will be able to fly in and out of combat as well as experience a plethora of quests on their way.

By preordering on Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, and others players are also automatically entered in the closed beta of Aion. Beta dates are:

Friday, June 19th to Monday, June 22nd
Thursday, July 3rd to Monday, July 5th
Friday, July 17th to Monday, July 19th
Friday, July 31st to Monday, August 3rd
Friday, August 14th to Monday, August 16th
