PSPgo May Include a Store with Non-Gaming Apps

Are Non-Gaming Apps a Possible Future for PSPgo?

In a recent interview with CNET, SCEA PR manager Al De Leon talked about the now-lower costs of game development on the PSP. He mentioned that these reduced costs will, "enable all sorts of developers to develop content for the PSP."
De Leon said that while most development will focus on games, there is, "certainly an opportunity to look at some non-gaming applications."
It has been reported (but not confirmed) that these apps will have a 100MB size limit and will retail for much less than existing PlayStation Store titles.

Rumors indicate that Sony will reveal a new PSP app store at Gamescom this August.
