Resident Evil 5 Dated For PC
Posted by Adam Larck on 07.16.2009

Capcom has finally announced the release date for Resident Evil 5 for the PC, and that date is Sept. 15 for North America. Europe will have to wait three days (Sept. 18) before getting their PC game on.

Resident Evil 5 will be able to be used with the new GeForce 3D Vision technology from NVIDIA, provided you buy the wireless 3D Vision glasses as well. All of the cut scenes in the game will support Stereoscopic 3D, as well as the rest of the game.

Besides offering 3D, new costumes will be available for characters, along with an improved Mercenaries Mode that will have three times as many enemies.

Fans of the series that want to check the 3D graphics out before the game releases can see the game at Comicon 2009 (Booth #5133), or at the Penny Arcade Expo this fall.

Memo to Capcom: do not forget to put mouse support in this port (unlike Resident Evil 4)...
