New Wii Colors Not Coming Stateside - Says Nintendo

GameDaily recently got in touch with Nintendo to ask them if they had any plans to bring the new, black Wii to the States.
A Nintendo rep answered back saying that Nintendo has, "no plans to have other colors of Wii in the U.S."
This means two things may be going on right now: 1) Nintendo really doesn't have plans to bring over any new colors because the system doesn't need them here in the states, or 2) They do, but aren't telling because they don't want to slow down sales of the current model as people wait for the new color.
i think black looks awsome! i would personally love one

I mean I already have a wii but I wouldn't mind getting a black one to match my ds!!!

Option 2 makes sense because those damn things are overflowing at Target, Walmart, etc. I keep thinking about getting one again, but I would prefer a black one or none at all
