Dragon Age: Origins Armor Usable in Mass Effect 2
Posted by Jon Seddon on 08.12.2009

EA have released details of what's in the Collector's Edition and what bonuses are available to anyone buying a pre-ordering a new copy of this much anticipated RPG.

What you get is pretty complicated, so please pay attention.

If you buy the Collector's Edition, you will receive an obligatory steel case, a cloth map of the world of Dragon Age, a Making-of documentary DVD, a digital version of the Dragon Age: Origins soundtrack, game trailers, wallpapers, strategy tips and a concept art video, plus three exclusive downloadable items.

If you buy a new copy of the regular edition, you will receive a code that gives you a suit of Dragon Age themed armor that bizarrely will also be usable in Mass Effect 2. You will also receive access to a Stone Golem called Shale with his own back story and additional quests and content. This will be available separately (for people that bought a used copy I guess) for $15.99.

Lastly, if you pre-order either version you will get a code for something called a memory band, which gives you an experience point bonus.

I assume that those bits of DLC make up the three exclusive items in the Collectors edition, but maybe not. Either way, it looks like it's worth pre-ordering and possibly getting the Collectors Edition, which will be priced at $74.99.

They also say that retailers might be giving additional content.
