Wordplay Has Become More Social
EA has announced that "Scrabble" will be launching on iGoogle with the support of "Opensocial," offering users an interactive way to play games on their iGoogle homepage. The new feature allows users to share content, play games and collaborate with friends on their personal homepage.
The new "Scrabble" offers the actual game as well as an interface that allows head-to-head challenges against those in your contact list, allowing up to five simultaneous games.
"Scrabble" is currently available on several platforms. For mobile phones, the game can purchased at www.eamobile.com. For iPhone and iPod Touch users, check out the Apple App store at www.itunes.com/appstore. "Scrabble" is also available to PSP and Nintendo DS users at $19.99, as well as Xbox 360 owners via Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft Points.
