Kalypso Media Announces Release Date For Tropico 3 for Xbox 360 and PC
Posted by Dan Hirsch on 08.27.2009

The time to take over your own Cold War era tropical island nation is at hand! October 16th will see the game hit stores on both the PC and Xbox 360. However, PC gamers will be treated to a demo on September 7 where they can try a limited version of the game.

Not familiar with Tropico? Developed by Haemimont Games, Tropico 3 brings the series back to its roots and puts players in the role of ‘El Presidente', the two-bit dictator of a strategically positioned banana republic in the Caribbean during the Cold War. Players assume control of every aspect of island life, deciding whether to unleash the army to secure their power base or lead their people to prosperity as a generous elder statesman.

Check below for the latest trailer straight from GamesCom.
