Lost Planet 2 Demo Coming to PlayStation Network
Posted by Adam Larck on 09.16.2009

The same day that the Tokyo Game Show starts, PlayStation 3 owners will be able to try out the new Lost Planet 2 demo being shown off there.

On Sept. 24, fans of the first game can try the demo of the sequel out. The demo will feature some of the co-op campaign, letting up to four players try to exterminate the Akrid at once on the PlayStation Network.

The new co-op style allows players to share thermal energy from defeated Akrids among each other, as well as using it to power up Vital Suits to use. Also, new support weapons will be able to be used to boost teammates attack or defense powers.

The demo will feature three mission objectives, including trying to take out the G-Type Akrid, which is the boss of the first episode. The gameplay takes place in the jungle of E.D.N III, which has been seen in various screenshots.

Also on Sept. 24, the newest trailer of the game will be released on the PSN as well. The trailer will show off the desert that will be in the game, and even bigger Akrid then what have been previously seen.
